In 2000, the television world presented us with a pair of best friends that could never be topped. They loved each other more than any romantic couple from a Nicholas Sparks book could, and no one understood either of them better than each other. They were there for each other through life's biggest ups and downs, through every tragedy, breakup, and loss. They kept one another laughing throughout the tiring work day and helped make each other a better person. Their names are Jonathon Dorian (or JD, as he's known in the show) and Chris Turk. "Scrubs" has been said to be the most accurate medical show to appear on TV (yes, "Grey's Anatomy" fans, this is true, so sit down before you get out your pitchforks and torches). These two taught me the importance of friendship and the reason why you need to find the one person you can be the biggest dork with (that person doesn't have to be your partner – just your partner in crime).
Quite literally, they were each other's partners in crime.
They were never apart.
They always supported each other's ideas.
And did everything they could to make each other feel better.
They always knew what each other needed.
They only needed each other to have fun.
And they have their whole futures planned out.
They wear matching rings that were a double prize from a cereal box!
And they wear matching bracelets, which obviously only true BFFs do.
They know how to treat each other nicely.
They know that they are each other's true soul mates and they're okay with admitting it.
But mostly, they're friends in real life which makes everything a million times better.
May you all find the Turk to your JD real soon because everyone deserves a friendship like these two (mainly so they can walk into parties looking like this):
