We all have wonderful friends who can be absolutely nothing alike. I know that my friends' personalities are all over the board! So, here's just a few of those categories being described by the characters of one of my favorite shows, "NewGirl."

The Party Friend

Oh yes, you know that friend well. If you woke up this morning still a little buzzed from last night, you may be this friend! You fill our times together with constant laughter and entertainment! You probably don't remember dancing on the bar while belting "I Want It That Way," but we sure do!

The Mom Friend

Where would any of us be without this friend? Probably just ignoring the fact that we're sick so we don't have to go to the doctor by ourselves. This friend is the one who can solve any problem you have, can provide anything you need just from her purse, and is the one you need to keep you from going to the bar the night before your biggest final. To all the mom friends, thank you!

The Overly Emotional Friend

This friend is probably sitting on their couch, watching a "Lifetime" movie, and crying into their popcorn. However, they're also the friend that will get super excited whenever you do anything even a little monumental. They're pretty wonderful to have around when you need someone to share your feelings with!

The Sports Are Life Friend

You probably have that friend who's constantly wanting you to go to the gym with them because it's a "good time." They might be crazy, but sometimes they take you to a professional sporting event and they're always good at explaining the sport that your crush plays so you have something to talk about!

The Friend Who is Constantly Singing

This friend could tell you their whole life story set to the melody of "Tomorrow" from "Annie," and not only can, but they will. There are days where you'll want them to sing to you for hours because let's be honest, all of that singing has made a great voice! However, there are days where you're certain if they utter one more note, you'll lose your mind.

The Cat Friend

Do I really need to say more?

So there you have it! They may all be really different from one another, but they're all amazing and you probably couldn't live without any of them! Here's to good friends and funny shows!
