Most groups of friends include unique personalities that together form the perfect circle of friends. Here are the typical and very essential friends needed in every group to reach the peak on a chart of "fun times":
The Silent But Deadly Friend:
Every group has the quiet one. This friend tends to be very shy and reserved so nobody really knows what she's thinking most of the time because she just sits back and takes in everything around her. She's smart in a way that she knows it is not necessary to always speak her mind, and actually it is most likely a good thing for her to keep her silence and she is respected for that. She is also allegedly the sweetest one in the friend group but once you get to know her and get her out of her comfort zone she can get out of control, in a fun way of course (that's where the deadly part comes in).
The One Without A Filter:
Typically one may think this friend is off her rocker about 80% of the time but in reality she is completely necessary when it comes to telling it how it is. She can be ruthless at times but she does it out of love and she will never lie to you, so if you ever need advice on how you look you should go to this girl. She's not afraid to speak her mind and everyone respects her for it. She keeps it real in the friend group and very interesting at the same time.
The One With All The Stupid Ideas:
This friend keeps everything amusing as it is always entertaining with this one. She can be hard core wild at times or very understanding about things, she is very special in that way. Sometimes her emotions are like a rollercoaster, but it makes things very exciting in that you never know what to expect from her. One thing to be admired about this friend is that she always gives everything 100%, whether it be giving you her undivided attention when you are sharing one of your problems or when coming up with random ideas, I don't think her mind ever stops to take a breather. There is never a dull moment with her, whether she's getting you in trouble or she just has a really stupid idea that she is obligated to ALWAYS follow through with. She will keep you laughing at all times! She can often have a similar personality to the one without a filter as lots of times they go hand in hand.
The One Who's Friends With Everyone:
This friend is generally one of the nicest people you know, as she literally knows anyone and everyone. Whenever you walk with this friend whether it be at the mall or on the way to class she is constantly saying “HI” to everyone she sees... every time! It is quite astonishing as to how many people she is friends with but it is also admirable that she is so welcoming.
The Crazy One:
The title pretty much says it all. She's not really afraid to do much of anything whether it be dancing on tables or just going along with the dumb ideas of the one with all the stupid ideas. That's all that really needs to be said about her. She’s often the “life of the party”.
The One That Keeps Everyone Sane:
This friend is completely essential in every group, especially when it comes to college where you literally spend every waking moment with your friends. She is similar to the silent but deadly friend in that she can be very quiet at times, but she knows to speak her mind when the time is right. Sometimes she could also be called the "mom" of the friend group in that she is like the glue that keeps everyone together. She often doesn't get enough credit for everything she does but a friend group would not be possible without her.
You don't need a certain number of friends. You just need a number of friends you can be certain of. Each one of these friends has their own place in the group and they all contribute to the most bomb friend group ever! I would like to personally add that my friends are the people in my life that make me laugh a little louder, smile a little brighter, and live a little better.
