Cynful_Streams adds a hellish twist to her twitch streaming community.

On the streaming platform Twitch, a streamer's aesthetics are a key feature in building a community; content creators on the platform—like creators on other social media platforms—utilize their virtual spaces as a way to highlight their interests, set a certain ambiance, and provide followers and viewers alike with a tailored content experience. From sci-fi overlays and designs to magic or just minimalistic, content creators on Twitch present a vast array of channel layouts. However, tacking on the rock and heavy metal influences, Cynful_Streams's channel features a darker, Hell-inspired look from her channel avatar, stream overlays, in-stream user interface, emotes (Twitch's take on emojis) and her discord server The Cynners Club. With this Hell-inspired look, Cynful_Streams sets herself apart from other gaming channels that air on the side of bright and colorful channel aesthetics. Not only is the detailing brought to every corner of Cynful_Streams's channel, but even the animations for new followers, raids, and subscribers are marked by the small demons and sound triggers that are both unique to Cynful_Streams's overall look and well-illustrated. While the appearance of the channel might not appeal to any and all viewers, Cynful_Streams's community is no less inviting, tolerant, or engaging.

Cynful_Streams unleashes variety whilst maintaining an open, inviting, and tolerance community.

As a variety streamer, Cynful_Streams provides a gaming viewing experience though games such as "Dead by Daylight" (the most broadcasted on the channel), "League of Legends," "Phasmophobia," "Pummel Party," and more. Cynful_Streams also hosts Friday community game nights through games like "Jackbox," and viewers are generally more than welcome to play along with Cynful_Streams herself. However, the occasion may vary depending on the game, the number of other players present and chatting with Cynful_Streams, or whether the game features cross-platform matchmaking (the ability to play with other players across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and mobile).

Falling in the niche of content creators that do not use a camera to show themselves streaming but instead take on a motion-capturing avatar, Cynful_Streams's iconic purple hair and "demoness" appearance adds to the overall flair.

Broadcasting updates are made frequently on The Cynners Club Discord server, and Cynful_Streams takes it a step further by maintaining a safe and open space for all viewers. Like other content creators on Twitch, Cynful_Streams asks for viewers to respect one another, and the channel's labels (which are most commonly seen when there's an on-going, live broadcast) include those of LGBTQIA+, English language, and cooperative. While a small streamer, Cynful_Streams's live chat is not densely crowded; nonetheless, Cynful_Streams is not only an excellent player but engaging and a great conversationalist with viewers. One requisite of Cynful_Streams's channel is the 18+ restriction on viewers in order to maintain Twitch's Terms of Services (TOS) guidelines. Like other streamers I've covered here on Odyssey, Cynful_Streams is another small yet mighty content creator. Check out Cynful_Streams's channel as the Gates of Hell open to an amazing video game viewing and interactive experience.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
