Over the last year, manifesting a certain person or your "twin flame" in various different ways and mediums has been one of the hottest Tik Tok trends. Whether it is writing their name in red ink and putting it under your pillow or chanting their name to your rose quartz, there is many ways thought to bring your "person" back into your life. Now I will admit, I have done both of those things. I whispered a boy's name into my rose quartz three times like the Tik Tok creator told me to, ten minutes later the boy in question blocked me. I wrote another boy's name in red ink and sprayed it with my favorite perfume and kissed it, and everything is still in the air. Those are somewhat harmless, but there are some trends and ways of wanting to attract a person that can come back to bite even harder. A trending audio in the manifesting community has rubbed me the wrong way ever since I first heard it. A said "love" affirmation, it goes "no matter what he is doing, no matter who he is with, he is always thinking of me. Everything is reminding him of me. Always." Millions of women sharing that sound directed to their person and manifesting obsession from that person is manipulative and harmful in many ways. Yes, they might get their person or the attention they want so badly from them, but because it is against the other person's free will and permission, and because it's interrupting the universe's divine timing for love; karmic love and repercussions will come back in a point in the relationship or reconnection either physically or mentally. This person may become aggressive and controlling over you and a toxic and forced relationship can come of a manipulative affirmation like this. As much as I want "my person" to reciprocate my feelings towards them, forcing them to have feelings for me and shattering the universe's natural flow of love and romance, it could ruin us in the long run and may result in a bigger heartbreak than I have already experienced. Whenever I am thinking of a certain person in my love readings or affirmations, I make sure to let my spirit guides and put good and free intentions into the universe. When you manifest a connection or affirm someone's love, make sure you do not word it to be something forced or against their will. Instead of the above affirmation, try "if it is in my highest good," or "if the universe sees this person for my best self," "if they are healed and ready," as simple, flowing, and broad manifestations, the harmfulness of obsession and manipulation will not be there; instead divine timing and free will will bring this person to you in a beautiful and seamless fashion. Love comes naturally, but it is okay to want a person. It is not okay to force someone against their will and enter their brain to make them obsess over you. On the other hand, people constantly affirm or manifest for their twin flame or for a soulmate, but casually mix them together in a sentence and many people think they are the same thing. So what's the difference?

If you have ever instantly connected with someone on a out of body level, or felt like you have known them for lifetimes, they are most likely your twin flame. This is a person who was your mirror and other half in other lives, and someone who seems familiar when you meet them and a person you instantly feel comfortable, even vulnerable around. Not everyone in your life is your twin flame, it is one special someone that you meet and just instantly know they were meant to be in your life. It can also be a best friend you meet for the first time and become quite literally attached to them for decades, but in many cases it is used in a romantic sense. Twin flames come into each others lives with the overall purpose of healing each others wounds and growing together from your insecurities and fears, and shifting consciousness to reach both of your full potential. So, yes a relationship in which the two people are each other's twin flames is ideally beautiful and wholesome. When twin flames meet each other and have their physical body and energy intertwined, their mannerisms and heartbeats become the same and they fall in love with each other deeply and soulfully. A telling sign you have found your twin flame is if the physical attraction is intense and overwhelming in a sense, as if you two are constantly drawn to each other and cannot keep your hands off each other. Sexual energy and attraction is passionate and harmonious, and the pure bliss from each other's bodies connected on a personal level and combined energy is something that cannot be leveled with anything else. But as dreamy as this sounds, heartbreak can be inevitable and more heartbreaking than anything you have ever experienced. Because they are your "other half" and your mirror, their insecurities or deepest flaws will bring out yours in a sense and cause friction or separation from each other. If one of the flames is struggling in multiple areas of their life, and you both separate it means that they are simply not meant to come into union with another flame yet and needs healing before they connect with another person. Because a twin flame connection is something that is destined, a separation is devastating but sometimes it is inevitable especially if the other person needs to heal first or is not in the mental health state to be in a relationship so powerful and soul binding. But because twin flames are meant to be together, time may heal them, and if they are ready for a flame that will consume them and another, then they will eventually come back when they are ready if the universe believes it is their highest good. Divine timing and healing are the most important things you can remember and reflect on while in any sort of relationship or soul bond, especially something as passionate as a twin flame bond.

Twin flames are two people who have been destined for each other in different timelines and whos souls are connected, on the other hand in a lifetime there are two people who meet and begin a somewhat immediate love connection and interest in each other. These are soulmates. The difference between twin flames and soulmates is that twin flames are destined for each other to grow and heal together, and soulmates are people who develop a connection over time with someone who knows you and accepts you. Soulmates and twin flames are both two people who are destined to meet, but soulmates are two different people who are extraordinarily linked and give their energy to each other, and twin flames thought to be a single soul split into two bodies. Soulmates tend to be more healthier since they are two different people with two different energies, twin flames might mirror each others fears and issues so soulmates tend to have more stable relationship. Both are soul ties that are beautiful and destined in their own ways and are both something people can only dream of.

That being said, love is natural and abundant to those who wait for it to come with free will and divine power. If you feel the need to force someone by poorly worded manifestations to gain their validations, then that person is neither your twin flame or your soulmate and you should never have to beg for someone's love. If you really are attracted to that person and have good intentions for them and your bond with them, then you would not force them to do anything and let them work out anything they need to work out or live their life the way they want to live without controlling their every move and spreading negative karmic energy. Two souls who are meant to be together will eventually meet each other without knowing that the planets just aligned in their favor.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
