1. Trying to navigate your way through Bruff

It can be hard to find things you like in Bruff, but once you do, it'll be all you eat.

2. Your way of trying to flirt with new people here

With a huge Jewish population, finding out someone is Jewish( aka most people you meet) automatically

3. When you get wristbands to more than one frat party

As a freshman who isn't yet in Greek life, getting wristbands to parties can be a difficult.

4. Coming out of a test you stayed up all night to study for

Sometimes you can spend countless hours studying for a test and it still can never feel like enough.

5. Mentally preparing yourself to get out of your bed and walk to Gibson

Waking up early is hard enough, but knowing you have to walk completely to the other side of campus makes it that much harder.

6. Nothing making you happier than getting Boot Pizza on a Saturday Night

The best way to end a night out with your friends is grabbing a slice of pizza from the Boot, and you'll totally wait in the line no matter how long it is.

7. Not knowing how to dress properly for the weather

80 degrees and raining? How is one supposed to know what clothes to wear?

8. When Bruff finally has the ice cream flavors you like

Checking the ice cream station everyday and them never having the flavor you like( I'm thinking about you, cookies and cream) but the one time they do you'll eat as much of it as you can.

9. Actually motivating yourself to go to Reily

Getting out of your room and going to Reily makes you feel like you really have your life together and that you didn't use taking the stairs as an excuse not to go.

10. When you pass an exam you studied really hard for

Having all your hard work pay off... no feeling like it.

11. When the shower stall you like is open

Everyone has that one stall we all prefer over the others.

12. When there's no line at Panera

Most of the time when you go to Panera, there's a crazy line so getting there and having to line feels like winning the lottery.

13. When you accidentally spend all your Wavebucks at the LBC by Halloween

Sushi, Panera, salads, burgers... any choice at the LBC is better than bruffing it for every meal

14. On your way to class and you pass 100 girls wearing Hamsa necklaces

Going to a school with such a large Jewish population, you start to notice some trends

15. Logging onto Canvas to check your grades

Who can't relate to the stress of checking your grades after a big test?

16. Several hours into a study session at Howie T.

Convincing yourself you can keep studying at the library when in reality all you want to do is watching Netflix

17. Getting off campus like

There's so much to do in NOLA, every time you leave campus is an adventure.

18. Every time Eduroam disconnects

There's nothing more frustrating than continuously trying to log on to Eduroam when you are trying to finish writing a paper.

19. Knowing you go to the best school by far

No explanation needed... you go to the best school in the country and you know it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
