As I've grown up, I have learned quite a few things vital to becoming an adult. One of the most important of these is to realize that Tuesdays have, and always will be, the worst day of the week. No if's, and's, or but's about it, it is time to accept that this is the worst day of the week.
I'm not sure how to describe why Tuesdays are so terrible other than explaining why every other day of the week is better:
Sundays: Dead from a crazy weekend and prepping for a busy week ahead, you drag yourself to the lib and begin to chug coffee like it is no one's business. Even though you know the week has not even begun yet, you're okay with the thought of how terrible it might be.
Mondays: Stressed about all the homework you didn't finish yesterday, you accept how long and hard this day will be, and somehow you're okay with it.
Wednesdays: Okay, halfway done with the week. You've made it this far, only a little more to go. These next two days will (hopefully) breeze by and it'll finally be the weekend.
Thursdays: The weekend is so close you can almost taste it. Just get through today and you can reward yourself tonight with a trip to Klondike.
Fridays: For some this may be the start of the weekend if you don't have classes, but for others this day is normally a blur of trudging to the remaining classes of the week, dreaming of the fun this weekend will bring.
Saturdays: What isn't great about Saturdays? Sleeping in (or all day) and the best part: tomorrow isn't Monday.
Now here is why I hate Tuesdays:
You always wake up in a bad mood: Without a fail, every Tuesday I end up waking up late and having to rush to class, already making it a bad day.
It seems that all your tests and quizzes are on Tuesdays: And of course they are for your hardest classes....
Plus all of your meetings are Tuesday nights: Shoutout to Odyssey being one of my five meetings on Tuesdays.
And that means you can't go to Trivia: This just tops off the atrocity of Tuesdays.
s/o to Sydney Platek of for the article idea much love.
