There are times when a group of friends struggles through a time when communication is lost and things seem to be in a spiral.

These are the most important times to talk to one another and remember that your friends are there for you no matter what.

We’re all guilty of it, but if you think you aren’t then congrats, but the time will come. You forget that you can always talk to your friends and you’re not a burden and they’re in your life, and vice versa, for a reason. Everyone you consider a friend is there for a reason and sometimes you just need a reminder of that.

Whether you pull away in terms of communication or all together, have faith that your friends will realize it and try and do something about it. And when that time comes, let them. Let them talk to you and don’t push them away, talk it out. They want to be there for you as much as you need someone to be there.

So let them be. Let them help you figure things out even if you don’t think you need help. Because sometimes it’s our friends that know us better than we know ourselves. And it’s our friends that can help us figure out which way we need to go.

Have faith in the people that you’ve chosen to be in your life. Trust them. You chose for them to be in your life for a reason so now trust yourself and trust them to find yourself again. Have faith and keep your friends close. They're more invaluable than you'd ever imagine.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
