This whole issue with Syria, tomahawk missiles, and chemical bombs is really interesting. If one would analyze the situation, they would see how minds have been changed and the people it has affected.
For the minds that have changed, Trump was one of them. When Obama was president, Trump was very vocal about not doing stuff to Syria. He was the main person that was tweeting about not doing anything to Syria cause it would create a much bigger problem than what we want. I want people to know that when Obama was thinking about attacking Syria, that was in 2013. Here we are 4 years later, Trump decides to drop 59 tomahawk missiles in Syria just days after Syria dropped chemical bombs on its own people. If one would think about Syria is violating its peoples' human rights law; they say the worst crime to commit is killing its own people. But the biggest difference between Trump and Obama is their thought process about Syria. Obama consulted with many people about where or not they should drop bombs, the only reason Obama messed with Syria is because of Isis. When it comes to Trump, he just bombed them. One of Trumps targets was Syria's military base.
This missile attack affected many people other than the people of Syria. One of Syria's friends is Russia and no one should ever mess with Russia. The reason being is that Russia holds the largest bomb in the world and once it's dropped it will kill millions of people. They have threatened America numerous times because they know the type of power they hold. The one interesting thing is, America has the largest military in the world and has the most bombs and weapons compared to the rest of the world and yet we are afraid to mess with Russia. It may have something to do with money because we are trillions of dollars in debt and messing with Russia is not worth being more in debt. This whole missile problem awoke twitter, with the many millennials who have twitter as an app on their phone makes them state their opinions about everything that has been going on in the world. It's actually affected the millennials for some reason, we tend to overthink a lot of situations. Someone started the WWIII rumor the day Trump dropped those missiles. They think that wars just happen off the bat, there are a lot of factors involved. If Syria or Russia attacks back, then war is happening. There is a map circling twitter with all of the states on it and the possible targets that Russia could hit, many people are starting to think they need to live in the middle of nowhere to not get hit. Here's the thing, these bombs have wide ranges, it can hit anywhere and destroy surrounding areas.
Thinking about this whole situation is traumatizing! As stated before, as millennials we tend to overthink a lot of situations. In my opinion, America won't get hit but then again America has done a lot of things to many countries so I wouldn't be surprised if America gets hit. Trump should have a talk with his board to see if what they did was the right thing because in all actuality Trump helped the Syrian government kill people. It got to the point where CNN thinks what he did was illegal, Trump needs to do better and consult with other people before making these kinds of decisions.
