Don't Spend ALL Your Love On Other People, You Deserve To Be Spoiled, Too

Don't forget about yourself!

Yes, others do come first and you should always be thinking of other people, BUT sometimes you deserve a little something extra, too. There's no reason to feel guilty or selfish for getting something for yourself — many benefits come out of it! You'll end up feeling less stressed, more energized, and happier.

After a hard week of class, a long day at work, or just because, there is always a reason to treat yourself. Even for birthdays and holidays, get yourself something too. It feels GOOD to know you're working hard and giving your all in everything you do, so every now and then go reward yourself with a nice meal, a new shirt, or an ice cream cone. Whatever you like or have been dying to have, work hard for it then reward yourself with it. This will give you more motivation and determination to get stuff done in the future.

Don't just celebrate your big accomplishments because your little ones matter just as much.

If you overcome a small fear, do good on an exam, or even drive without hitting something finally, reward yourself! You'll feel that much more proud of your accomplishment and more confident when you share it with your friends and family. They honestly will be even more excited about your hard work, too.

Self-love is a real thing and it is really necessary. You don't want to start feeling down about yourself and wonder what could've been. LOVE yourself and LOVE what you're doing. You'll feel happier and want to keep doing more and more. It could even lead to trying new things that you never thought you would do. You never know what could come out of a situation you are in and you don't want to be going through it with a negative attitude.

Treating yourself is all fun and games until you do it for every little thing. You should treat yourself, but you shouldn't treat yourself every time since it will lose its effect. You want to make sure it's special, so you don't skip all of the work and go straight to the reward. Make sure you spend a good amount of time or did a long amount of work before you start spending all of your money. You could lose it all really fast, so you don't want to go crazy right away.

Start your journey of self-love by treating yourself today. Your life will be better because of it, I promise. Don't listen to what others have to say about it. It is a normal part of life to want to do something for yourself. Start small or start big, either way, you'll be able to reap the benefits of all your hard work and effort. Keep thriving and being you. Don't forget about yourself either. Life is hard, so make sure you reward yourself for doing it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
