Traveling abroad is one of the greatest adventures we can experience; but, like most things, there is always room for a little humor! From the stress of the airport to the language barriers, there are endless stories to be told upon the return home. With that said, who better than Mr. Bean to remind us of all our favorite and most awkward travel moments?!

1. Looking your best is just as important as the packing list.

Yup, you might end up meeting a cute foreigner so you better be ready to shine!

2. The airport security never fails to make you self-conscious and anxious simultaneously.

The panic arises every time they look at that unflattering mugshot you waited in line for three hours to have taken. Did I mention there was no air conditioning, I was bloated, and it was the dead of summer? Maybe the TSA agent will understand!

3. You record your adventures like you're filming your own documentary, because let's be honest, we want everyone to know we're having a blast!

Who knows when you'll have to show this stuff to your future kids, all your enemies on Facebook, or prove to the college admissions counselor that you're a "worldly" person.

4. The first thing you do getting off the plane is eat everything in sight.

Nothing like plane food to fill you up...or not. Once you're off that plane, you're searching for the nearest restaurant. Has it only been four hours since I last ate? Must be the jet lag!

5. You realize you left your phone charger at home.

That horrible moment when you remember the one important thing you forgot to pack. Your heart races, your vision blurs, and you wonder what will become of your life if you can't buy a replacement in this foreign land! How am I supposed to know my underwear size in Taiwanese?

6. You think your language skills are up to par.

As much as you try to prepare, the likelihood is that you're going not as fluent as you thought you were when you were practicing with your dog on the floor.

7. Every place you visit is overly fascinating and deserves a thorough inspection.

Wow! So this is what these things look like up close! No matter where you go while traveling, you think everything needs a second look. "I may never visit again so I have to ingrain it in my mind."

8. You try to be healthy while on vacation but it just fails after a day.

"I'm going to go to the hotel gym every morning before everyone is up!" But then the morning comes and the last thing we want to do is get up. "I am on vacation after all." [Falls back to sleep].

9. Being weird doesn't need a language.

No matter where you go, the awkwardness is just steps behind like a shadow. And although you're in a different culture it's as if everyone knows just how odd you are.

10. You haven't done laundry once since you went on this trip and finally regret it.

We may get caught up in the fun of the trip and completely forget about the laundry stinking up our suitcase. Then again, the airport can't charge you extra for a stinky bag, so take that, TSA!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
