CHICAGO, IL -- Thousands of music-lovers swamped the fields of Grant Park last weekend for Lollapalooza 2017, which featured dozens of chart-topping headliners performing some of the biggest shows of their careers. This was certainly the case for EDM legend DJ Snake, as the trap artist spent his entire 60-minute set silently staring at two empty chairs sporting a sign that said "Reserved for Parents."

Talk about innovative performance art!

The show, which was scheduled to begin at 11:00 am on Friday, was delayed for 10 minutes as DJ Snake repeatedly stuck his head out from backstage to quickly scan the crowd for familiar faces. Many audience members began to suspect that something was different when the artist rushed onstage and, instead of performing his energetic single "Turn Down for What," simply mumbled the phrase "they said they were coming" over and over again into the microphone. An entire crowd of Snake-heads was stunned to silence as their god held an intense and tear-filled gaze at the couple of empty lawn chairs that had been placed right in front of the stage.

Wow, Lollapalooza never fails to push artists to expand their creative comfort zones!

While the exact meaning of this experimental DJ set was lost on the audience, this didn't stop DJ Snake's loyal fans from being supportive. Before long, the entire crowd of sweaty music festival-goers were chanting uplifting messages such as "we're so proud of you" and "we've raised you so well" and "we remember when you were young, you always did have a knack for music. We don't really understand it, but we'll support you no matter what, because we love you" in perfect unison. This prompted the DJ to weep and assume a fetal position until festival officials arrived to carry him off of the stage.

Now THAT'S a sick drop!

Astounding. DJ Snake is an artist who famously pushes the boundaries of electronic dance music, and this stellar performance was no exception. When asked for comment directly after his set, the musical genius murmured "maybe they missed their flight" under his breath. It's not apparent what he meant by that, but it is obvious that anybody who cares about DJ Snake at all would have never missed such an iconic concert.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
