The website known as YouTube has created a whole new universe for people. The people who are on the website are either browsers or creators. There are also many different types of creators. There are the fashionistas, makeup gurus, musicians, and so much more.
I personally love music, and here are my top 10 YouTube musicians:
10. Sam Tsui
Sam Tsui is known for his covers but has recently branched out into original music. The song above speaks of how he’s always the safety net for a girl, and never Mr. Right.
9. Megan and Liz
Megan and Liz are twins who sing many genres of music. The song listed is about being new at each stage of life and how they should be doing one thing instead of another. They have many EPs out, and have gone on radio tours, done television appearances, and they have even done commercials.
8. Megan Nicole
Megan Nicole is also known for her covers but has spread to original music. This particular song, called "FEVER," showcases her knowledge of Spanish, and also has an alternate Spanish version. The meaning of the song is that she loves this guy with a fever. She also covers hit songs.
7. Madilyn Bailey
Madilyn is a singer who mostly does covers on her channel. She also features makeup tutorials, as well as mainly other types of videos.
6. Landon Austin
Landon Austin is known for collaborating with others for covers and for challenges. His channel contains musical and non-musical content. His original music ranges from romance to dance. This particular song is called “Once In A Lifetime” and I absolutely love the descriptive language he uses to describe his someone special.
5. Bethany Mota
This creative domino-lyric video of her original song describes Bethany's channel perfectly. She’s been on "Dancing with the Stars," and her channel contains mostly non-music content, but her voice is pure and angelic.
4. Mike Tompkins
Mike is well-known for his beatboxing and other music. In fact, his rendition of "Starships" was featured in "Pitch Perfect."
3. Nick Pitera
This cover of "A Whole New World," which has both the female and male parts, gave him a spot on "The Ellen Show," as well as over 32 million views. Because of that fame, he is beginning a solo career with songs like Better Days.
2. Walk off the Earth
The group has five people and is well known for their cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know" where all five of them crowd around one guitar. They have over 155 million views on that one video, and have been on "The Ellen Show." They also have a lot of original songs and are on tour.
1. Laura Zocca
This girl has so much talent. She can take pop songs and make them her own. She's been noticed by Taylor Swift for her many medleys of each of Taylor's albums: "Fearless," "Speak Now," "RED Album," "1989." Before getting the honor of going on tours and playing college shows, she made song tutorials and sang her heart out on whatever song she was singing. There's never been a song where I haven't seen her give it her all.
