Netflix is the best thing to happen to the world since the Iphone and with fall finally here, so is the cold weather. We all rather much curl up in our beds with pumpkin spice in hand than go out into the cold or sit in class through another 10am lecture. So if you're huddled in your dorm like me and swiping through your playlist of shows, Here are ten shows on Netflix to get you hooked for the season.
Stranger Things (Seasons 1)
I just started watching the show and it's strangely addictive (see what I did there). The show is about the dissaperance of a boy named Will set in the 80's and how the kids in the town uncover all the crazy and psycho experiments in their town. This horror-drama will have you clicking on the "next episode button" at the end.
The Walking Dead ( Seasons 1-6)
In this world, a group of people are trying to survive without being killed by flesh eating zombies or themselves for that matter. This show has mentally prepared me for the apacolyspe and by the looks of this year's election, we might need it.
Grey's Anatomy( Seasons 1-12)
This medical drama will have you thinking you're a certified doctor after watching the first five seasons. The show surrounds Meredith Grey and the doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital. It's more about the drama with the doctors but they have a new and crazy patient case every week.
Orange is the New Black (Seasons 1-4)
The daily lives of the inmates in a female prison sounds crazy but give it a chance. After watching the first season, you're gonna want more from every episode you watch.
Jane The Virgin (Seasons 1-2)
The title says it all. The dramedy is about a virgin who is accidently artifically inseminated. The show has gotten popular since it came on the air and Gina Rodriguez personality makes the show even better.
American Horror Story (Seasons 1-5)
Every episode is an hour long mini-horror movie. Every season has a different theme. My personal favorite would have to be Coven
Gossip Girl (Seasons 1-6)
Teen Drama at it's best, the story of the teenagers of the Upper Eastside has us watching a soap opera. Gossip Girl is a blogger who has everybody's dirty little secret and the mystery is that no one knows who she is.
Supernatural (Seasons 1-12)
The sci-fi show has been around for awhile but people are just now getting to watch it from the beginning.
One Tree Hill ( Seasons 1-9)
This coming of age show has been trending on Netflix for I don't know how long. It's Friday Night Lights but Basketball instead of Football. The story surrounding two brothers and their lives has us rooting for a different character every episode.
The Vampire Diaries(Seasons 1-7)
With Season 8 being the last of the series, you best believe we're watching this vampire soap opera from the beginning.
