With Halloween just around the corner, we're starting to crank out the candy and Halloween movies. But nothing says Halloween like these 10 classic films.

Halloween season is in full gear. Through munching on candy, going to haunted houses and carving pumpkins; we can't forget about the classic Halloween movies. Wether they're Disney Channel Movies or Horror Movies, there are definitely some Halloween classics that we all love.

1.Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus, a movie that definitely gives you the creeps. Plus who doesn't love the Sanderson sisters?

2.The Nightmare Before Christmas

Sometimes we aren't sure wether we should watch this movie around Halloween or Christmas time. It's became a holiday favorite and you have an excuse to watch it more than once in the holiday season.

3.Halloween

Jamie-Lee Curtis might be a familiar name if you've been keeping up with the FOX hit Scream Queens. Back in the 70's, she starred in one of the most classic movies of the Halloween season.

4.Psycho

Fun fact, Jamie-Lee Curtis' mother, Janet Leigh was the lead in Alfred Hitchcock's hit film Psycho. It's one of those movies that once you see it, it will never be the same. Hitchcock pushed Hollywood's boundaries with the infamous shower scene. If you can't get enough of Psycho, check out the 2012 film, Hitchcock.

5.The Addams Family

We've all seen an episode of The Addams Family sometime in our lives. Their legacy didn't stop in the 60's. Several Addams Family movies were made starting in the 1990's for a younger generation to be introduced to the famous family. Plus it's pretty hard to not sing along to the famous theme song. *snap, snap.*

6.Poltergeist

Poltergeist might be a familiar name from the recent remake of this horror classic. Made in the 80's, this movie is sure to freak you out. If you're a Poltergeist buff, learning about the "curse" that surrounds the cast of the original will spook you out even more.

7.Scream

If you've been watching FOX's Scream Queens or if you've seen any of the movies in the Scary Movie series, Scream might seem pretty familiar. With four films to the franchise, you have plenty to get hooked on. Once you watch the first film, you just want more and more of this terrifying on the loose, ghost man.

8.Halloweentown

Chances are if you grew up in the 2000's with cable, you've heard of Halloweentown. A favorite amongst Disney Channel viewers, We love the journey Marnie takes us on as we see what Halloweentown is like. It introduced Debbie Reynolds to a younger generation and nothing adds charm to a movie quite like Debbie Reynolds.

9.The Blair Witch Project

If you're a fan of the Paranormal Activity series, you'll love The Blair Witch Project. the two films documentary film style are very similar. Except this movie will have you be afraid to go camping.

10. It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Not all Halloween movies have to be scary. We all secretly love when this one is on during the Halloween season.

Life is all about twist and turns, sideways and which ways. Nothing is permanent, so we should take risks, and chase our dreams. We are taught at a young age many lessons that will follow us into adulthood. What we aren't taught is how to feel, and how we handle those emotions. We just have to figure them out ourselves, and that's not fun. In my 21 years of living, I have come to know that way too many people can't handle emotions, or the fact that not everyone is dead inside like them. When you're like me, and you have zero control over your emotions, it's hard to feel comfortable around people who aren't so in touch with themselves. As much as I would like to feel nothing at times, I've accepted who I am and the fact that I can cry over practically nothing. So, there are some things in life that you just have to do.
