I have been a fan of American Horror Story for only about a year or so. It only took me a few weeks to watch seasons 1-5 on Netflix.

This fall, however, I have been re-watching the series with my roommates because insanely enough they haven’t seen it up until this point in time. While going through seasons 1-5 with them we have also been simultaneously been watching season 7 as it plays each Tuesday night at 10 pm on FX.

When rewatching the series I have had the chance of looking back into the intricacy of each actor and their range playing each part. Here is a list of my top 10 favorite American Horror Story actors and my favorite characters.

10. Denis O’Hare

The man who brought you characters like Spalding and Liz Taylor. I loved Liz’s backstory and I loved Spalding's undying loyalty!

9. Naomi Grossman

She was one of the only actresses to have a recurring character in the series, Pepper was seen in season 2 Asylum and season 4 Freak Show which in the timeline Freak Show is set before Asylum.

8. Lily Rabe

Lily Rabe brought us Sister Mary Eunice in Asylum and Misty Day in Coven. In Asylum Rabe was possessed by the devil and watching it I loved the idea of a sadistic nun. In Coven, Rabe is seen as a witch who loves Stevie Nicks and has the ability to bring the dead back to life.

7. Frances Conroy

Known as Moira the maid in Murder House, the Shachath or Angel of Death in Asylum and Gloria Mott in Freak Show she kept my attention in all of her parts. My favorite, however, was the Angel of Death because of how often she would pop into a scene.

6. Taissa Farmiga

Popularly known as Violet in Murder House or Zoe in Coven I particularly enjoyed how she seemed to use her newfound witch powers in coven the most.

5. Emma Roberts

Even though Emma Roberts was already an established actress before she joined the AHS cast I loved her work in Coven as Madison Montgomery. I loved how badass she could be and how commanding she was of the people around her. I loved her as the villainous hero.

4. Zachary Quinto

My favorite character that Quinto played was Dr. Oliver Thredson AKA Bloody face. His ability to trick everyone around him made for a crazy ride in television and had me wondering what exactly does it take to make such a psychopath.

3. Jessica Lange

Jessica Lange’s characters mainly played the mean woman like Fiona Goode or Sister Jude. I loved Sister Jude’s strength and felt for her when she eventually descended into madness at the hands of Sister Mary Eunice.

2. Evan Peters

Evan Peters has played a zombie, a murderer, a wrongfully accused man, and a psychopathic hotel owner ghost thing… as well as a cult leader in the new season. All of Evan Peters’ characters have both confused me and have left me wanting more at the same time. My all-time favorite character he played was James Patrick March the owner of the Hotel Cortez.

1. Sarah Paulson

Another actor that has made into every season has had such a range of character throughout the seasons. My favorite character of hers was Lana Winter a patient at Briarcliff Insane Asylum.

What do you think of American Horror Story: Cult? Who was your favorite character in the series? Are there any characters you would like to see in a crossover season?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
