There is an infinity amount of novels already written and another infinity that have yet to be published. In the 17 years that I have been in existence, I haven't even put a dent into that monumental stack of books.

For this listicle though, I have hand picked the best of the best! From the epic love story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the "Twilight Saga" to the wacky works of Jeff Kinney in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid."

No matter who you are or what your age, there will be a title here for you.

1. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" by Jeff Kinney

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is about Greg Heffley, a teenager just trying to make his way through the roller coaster ride that is high school. For those who are easily amused and prefer a lighter read, this is one for you!

2. "A Series of Unfortunate Events" by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler)

This 13 book series remains one of my favorites. This thriller will keep you on your toes with every word.

3. "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" by Michael Scott

In this dramatic series centered around main characters Sophie and Josh Newman, author Michael Scott incorporates actual historical events into each book adding a unique twist to his stories.

4. "Harry Potter" by J. K. Rowling

This series doesn't even need a description. I think we all know The Boy Who Lived. If you haven't read the books, you've seen the movies.

5. "The Twilight Saga" by Stephanie Meyer

As if high school wasn't difficult enough, author Stephanie Meyer adds vampires and werewolves to the mix in this action-packed romance.
