5 Reasons You Need To Play Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter is an addictive mobile game that was released on June 14, 2015. This game allows you (the overseer) to construct an underground community for dwellers. Dwellers undergo experiments to see where they will fit in this new community. Each dweller has a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. that allows them to work according to their strengths and weaknesses. Your job, as the overseer is to ultimately keep your dwellers happy and protect them from the radioactive debris and creatures in the wasteland. Here are my top five reasons you should be playing this awesome mobile game.

1. Build the perfect vault for your dwellers.

As the overseer, your job is to provide a living community for your dwellers. Building the perfect vault is probably the most difficult because you have to assign dwellers to a room that is specific to their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. For example, a dweller with a high Strength should not be assigned to a room that requires a dweller with a high Perception. Assigning dwellers to their respective places will allow your vault to flourish thus becoming the perfect vault for your dwellers!

2. Oversee a thriving community.

As you begin to dive deeper into Fallout Shelter one of the benefits is creating a thriving community. As the overseer, your dwellers give you feedback to their happiness and also advice as to what you can do to make their lives underground a lot better. The overseer can equip dwellers with weapons, outfits and can also send them out to the wasteland to collect items such as materials to make clothing, weapons, stimpaks, and radaways. As you take care of your dwellers, you will begin to see the overall happiness of the vault improve because you have successfully provided a thriving community for your dwellers.

3. Repopulate the old-fashioned way.

There are many ways to attain new dwellers. These acquired dwellers come from the wasteland. One way to collect dwellers is through the radio station, another way is to make a friend when traveling in the wasteland and the simple, old-fashioned way is to have dwellers repopulate in the vault. This allows you to create families and when a dweller is down or tired, reuniting them with their families is one way to increase their happiness.

4. Bravely explore the wasteland.

Sending your dwellers outside the vault and into the wasteland allows them to gain experience and acquire a lot of weapons, food, clothing and strength! These dwellers will have an increase in their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and a brave new attitude when it comes to fighting off raiders, mole rats, super mutants, feral ghouls and the list goes on. Having dwellers sent to the wasteland increases the overall protection of the vault and the health of all dwellers!

5. Protect your vault.

You are allowed to create up to three vaults with 200 dwellers each. Your job is to keep your dwellers safe and happy. Remember you are the one that is in charge of a dweller's life and success in the vault. If a room randomly catches fire, it is your job to move the stronger dwellers around to extinguish that fire. Sometimes out of the blue, a room will be attacked by mole rats, and it is your job to make sure the dwellers in that room have weapons and health to fight off the creature. Protect your dwellers and protect your vault!

So there you have it! These are my top five reasons that you should be playing Fallout Shelter! I really enjoy playing this mobile game and if you can follow my advice, you will have an amazing vault, happy dwellers and a successful living community underground. My vault is 733, so come join me. Do you have what it takes?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
