If you're home from college, Netflix will be your best friend. There are endless movies and series to watch. Last article, I gave some series to watch. Now, I'm back at it again with some movies to watch. Here are some great movies to watch on Netflix.
1. Ashby
A young, nerdy boy meets an old man that needs to be driven around. Perk: the boy is played by Nat Wolff, the boy that used to be in the Naked Brothers Band. The old man has a dark past that the young boy has to provide a report on for his class project. The young boy auditions for the high school football team and Ashby helps him prepare for try outs. He even helps him learn how to pick up a girl along the way.
2. Instructions Not Included
This is a heart-string jerking Spanglish movie. A Hispanic actor is left to tend to his daughter after the woman from his one-night stand leaves the baby on his door step. He raises the girl to look at every experience with imagination. He spoils her endlessly until the girl's mother returns to raise the daughter and take full custody of her. You'll watch the father battle for his right to his daughter whom he's raised since birth. Warning: this movie WILL make you cry.
3. Hush
This is an intense thriller/ horror movie. A deaf author is living alone inside her secluded home in the woods. Great idea, right? No. A masked killer has his eyes set on killing the woman after she witnesses him kill her neighbor. The poor woman fights for her life inside the house even though she can't hear her killer moving around. You'll watch her fight for her life and get really creative in the process.
5. Hush
This is an intense psychological thriller. Eight people are trapped inside a room to take an exam for a position with a powerful company. The exam proves to be harder than the contestants had originally thought. You'll watch the drama unfold as the eight participants try to pass the exam even though only one of them will get the coveted position. If you can figure out the major plot twist of this movie, then you're a genius and pay attention to detail.
6. Hush
This is an adorable movie for anyone with little siblings. You'll watch Thumbelina try to find herself and the love of her life. She meets the Prince of the Fairies and falls for him immediately. Thumbelina travels along the creek beside herself and meets suitors that want her hand in marriage. However, she only wants love from the Prince. It's a cute, touching tale about love.
7. Dope
This is a good movie about a young man's struggle to go to college. He and his two best friends go down a slippery slope after accidentally taking a backpack full of drugs. Unable to return the drugs, the three friends have to pawn them off so the police and other gangsters don't come after them. You'll watch the drama unfold as the friends try to sell drugs.
