I Have A Top 10 Bucket List Of Ideas To Live My Best Life, And I Can't Wait To Start Them

Most of us have a bucket list, and this one is mine!

I Have A Top 10 Bucket List Of Ideas To Live My Best Life, And I Can't Wait To Start Them

We all have seen someone's bucket list, whether it be a stranger's online, our friend's, or even our own. In any case, it's always fun to go searching for new ideas for our own bucket lists, so here's what I've planned for myself!

Go to Venice, Italy

There is a reason this is first on my bucket list: Venice seems like a gorgeous place to visit. I have wanted to go to Venice for the longest time because of how peaceful and serene it looks, not to mention how awesome it would be to row the gondolas in the sunset.

To have a reunion with all the friends I have become distanced from

I cannot say how many times I kept wishing to see my old friends or, since I moved multiple times, to gather with my best friends that live far away. If all my friends that I don't see anymore met at a certain place, I don't think my life would ever feel more complete.

Get my dream job

If you have a dream job, I'm sure if you ended up getting that job, you would be ecstatic. That's how I would feel if I got to be a performer in the field of music. I would love if my passion turned into my profession, but since it doesn't happen a lot, maybe that's why they call it a "dream" job.

See the Northern Lights

I know, it's cliche, but hear me out. There has never been enough time for me to go to places that have scenery and sit down while enjoying that scenery. I would love to see the Northern Lights in person because the pictures online are extraordinary, and I can't even imagine how they look in real life.

Have all my questions answered

I'm known to overthink and ask too many questions, and even though this goal is a long-shot, I can't live without knowing the answers to every question that has been unanswered. It's weird to think that I might never get to know the actual answer to some of my oddest questions.

Visit my childhood neighborhood and school

I grew up in the same neighborhood for over 10 years, and it was such a peak in my life because of the energy and the kids that lived there. Even my school was incredible, and visiting both places would mean so much because of how many memories would flood my mind and how I could see what changed and what didn't.

Shatter glass with a high note

I've hit some nice high notes before, but one thing I want to do with my voice is shatter glass. Very few people have shattered glass with a simple sound, so it would be honoring if I did it.

Leave an unexpected gift for a random person

Making someone happy makes me happy, and I wouldn't want to give a gift to a friend or family member because I would want to give it to the person who would expect it least so they could be happy. And that lasting effect would stay in them for the whole day.

Attend the New Year's Party for the year 2021

2021 is my graduation year, and since I have never been to a big New Year's Party, I would want to celebrate the new year with other people and wish for the coming year to be the best one yet.

Finish my entire bucket list

I have about 100 more ideas on my bucket list that I may or may not ever get to. One wish that I have, more than an idea, is to finish my entire bucket list. I guess I'll start now!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
