If you're headed to the 614 over the summer, here are some fun things that you have to do while you're in the beautiful city of Columbus!

1. Go to a Clippers game

What better way to spend a hot summer day than to attend Dime-A-Dog night at Huntington Park to cheer on the Columbus Clippers?

2. Feed the giraffes at the Columbus Zoo

While you're in Columbus, you should definitely take a trip to the Heart of Africa exhibit, where you have an opportunity to learn about and feed the giraffes!

3. Attend Gallery Hop in the Short North

If you love art, fashion, live music and great food, then Gallery Hop is an absolute must for you! The first Saturday of every month, "Gallery Hop" is held at the Short North in celebration of new art gallery exhibitions along with street performers, food trucks and more!

4. Go to ComFest

The annual art and music festival is put on at Goodale Park in the Victorian Village area late June. It's a free and fun event that everyone should experience!

5. Red, White, and BOOM

An early Independence Day celebration with the largest firework show in Ohio held in Downtown, Columbus, that attracts thousands of people every year. Live music, food and fireworks. What better way celebrate America?

6. Take a trip to the North Market

Go spend an afternoon having lunch at the North Market in Downtown, Columbus. There's a plethora of fresh, local, authentic food consisting of organic produce, wide range of fresh meat selection, baked goods and pastries, fresh brewed coffee and more!

7. Go to the Franklin Park Conservatory

Take some time to visit the botanical gardens and walk through the butterfly room along with other events and exhibitions throughout the summer!

8. Go to Easton Town Center

An indoor and outdoor shopping center with a wide selection of restaurants, a movie theater and hundreds of stores to shop at!
