Somehow, some way, we're already 3 months into 2018. The bad thing about it is that time is moving super fast and my grades can't keep up... (whoops.) But the good thing about it is that some of our favorite bands and artists have already released awesome music to propel us into the rest of the year ahead! Here are 8 of the best releases from 2018 so far.
1. "Growing Pains" - COIN
COIN is killing the 2018 game so far with a headlining tour and this rockin' single already checked off their to-do list.
2. "My My My" - Troye Sivan
Troye kicked onto the music scene a few years ago with his hit "YOUTH" but his steady hold on audiences with songs like "My My My" have proved that he's the real deal (and here to stay.)
3. "Alfie's Song (Not So Typical Love Song)" - Bleachers
With this song up its sleeve, it's easy to tell that the Love, Simon soundtrack is going to be one to watch. Catch it in theaters Friday, March 16.
4. "Alright" - Anthony Ramos
If you think the name Anthony Ramos sounds familiar, it's because he's all over the "Hamilton" soundtrack as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton. Lucky for us, he takes his musical talents offstage as well for everyone to hear and love.
5. "Supernova" - Ansel Elgort
If you haven't caught on yet, Ansel Elgort does so much more than star in your favorite movies. His music is crazy catchy, and you can't help but make this 2018 release your newest workout anthem.
6. "The Middle" - Zedd
While I'm not always the first to fall in love with the Top 40 pop hits, this song has somehow permeated every single person at every party ever because it's so catchy. I'm one of them.
7. "Want You Back" - 5 Seconds of Summer
This song is, simply put, different. 5 Seconds of Summer have opted out of their usual punk rock scene and shifted towards a pop sound. It suits them, surprisingly, and makes for a great transition song as they introduce their new album and promote their spring headlining tour.
8. You Worry Me - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
This band has always been one to watch, releasing hit after hit, and 2018 is sure to be no exception.
