7. Chinese food

It's the closest thing to any Asian food that I will ever get my hands on. I'm Filipino and I grew up eating Filipino food every day, so coming to college was a tad bit of a struggle.

8. Frozen foods

In all honesty, I never liked frozen foods. But I learned to eat hot pockets and several other microwaveable foods. Turned out... they're not so bad after all.

The thing is, coming to college, you learn to eat food to survive without depending on your parents to be making those filling home-cooked meals. Maybe you'll get lucky if they're nice enough to come visit you with packed foods, or maybe if you come home. But at the end of the day, we're all just trying to get through this whole "adulting" phase.

6 Things Owning A Cat Has Taught Me
Liz Abere

Owning a pet can get difficult and expensive. Sometimes, their vet bills cost hundreds of dollars just for one visit. I see tight abs and firm butts, manicured nails and toes, up dos and flowing hair. "Wow", I think to myself," I could apply tons of make-up, spend an hour on my hair, pose all day and not look like that. Maybe I need a longer stick!"
