Grab your popcorn and blankets, have a girls night, or grab your sweetie -- we are getting ready for the Halloween season. During October, I can't seem to get enough of scary movies. I am such a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies, but it doesn't keep me from watching them. I'm the type who as soon as I sense something scary is going to happen in the movie, I tend to cover my face, but can still manage to see through the finger spaces.

For those that love horror movies, and with Halloween being around the corner, I have gathered a list of the Top Six Classic Horror Movie Villains.

6. Ghost face -- "Scream"

This white mask and black hood became iconic growing up in the 90s; the costume was so popular that all the kids wanted to dress up as the creepy Ghost face. This villain would threaten, stalk and call his victims, asking movie trivia questions right before he would stab them to death with a hunting knife. Haven't they heard of checking your caller ID?

5. Jason Voorhees -- "Friday the 13th"

This 80's villain's mask has nothing to do with hockey, but can sure make you remember Jason. This villain killed to avenge his mother's death and to keep her quest of keeping Camp Crystal Lake closed . He is silent, undead and unstoppable, slaughtering anyone he comes into contact with. Talk about psycho madman.

4. Chucky -- "Child's Play"

Now he may seem silly, but in the early 90s, this child's toy was scary. Especially knowing it was a doll possessed by a serial killer, who transferred his soul into the doll in his last moments. Throughout all the movies, he has tried to transfer his soul into others to escape his Good Guy doll body and get his revenge on the people. Chucky kills anyone who stands in his way, and frames the survivors of the murders. Ever since I watched this movie, I tend to I always look twice at any doll. They give me the chills.

3. Freddy Krueger -- "Nightmare on Elm Street"

He haunts your dreams, the one safe place we all thought nobody could enter. He is a serial killer who would kidnap, torture and slash children, until the town wanted to punish him and set him on fire. He later returns from the dead in his victim's dreams, haunting, terrorizing, and murdering teenagers on Elm Street. Krueger reminds me of the Boogeyman's long lost, creepier, much more evil brother.

2. Michael Myers -- "Halloween"

Michael Myers is the most popular horror movie villain. Myers returns to his old neighborhood years after escaping from an asylum for murdering his older sister. He returns to stalk his younger sister with the only purpose of killing her, and plans to murder everyone who gets in the way. Myers has no supernatural powers, yet they can't kill him easily. He is scary creepy because he has no personality, shows no emotions, you don't know what he is thinking or what his next move is, and lastly, you know he kills for plain evil.

1. Pennywise, the Dancing Clown -- Stephen King's "It"

He is the creepiest on my list, especially if you have a hardcore fear of clowns. They are obnoxious and get all up close and personal in your face with those long gross nails, and that morning breath is killer. It's not enough his character is an evil demon who poses as a child-killing clown, but he can also transform into your biggest fear.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
