Located on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, Scoops and Plates is a tiny joint serving up vegan Caribbean food and ice cream. A place regulars call a second home, Scoops and Plates has a wide selection of delicious vegan ice cream, including unique flavors like pistachio.
2. Alchemy Creamery
Check out Alchemy Creamery at Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg food market and indulge in some incredible vegan ice cream made of hazelnut, cashew, coconut, and almond. And with tons of mouthwatering flavors, including strawberries and cream, green tea, and even salted peanut butter, Alchemy Creamery can satisfy any sweet tooth craving.
3. Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream
Don’t second-guess this spot just because they are not 100 perecent vegan. Van Leeuwen Artisan ice Cream has a wide selection of delicious vegan scoops, all of which are a killer combination of cashews, coconut, cacao, and peanut butter. Be sure to try out the new chocolate chip cookie dough and matcha green tea flavors!
4. Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit
Although not your traditional ice cream shop, Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit offers a delicious and healthy alternative to the ice cream sundae by using only three ingredients; fruit, water, and a touch of organic cane sugar. The shop carries 12 flavors (some are seasonal) and you can add toppings of your choice or opt for one of the soft serve fruit sundaes.
