Something you may not know about me-- I love watching the YouTube show Good Mythical Morning. The show, starring Link Neal and Rhett McLaughlin, was started in 2012 and to date has 12 million subscribers. I subscribed to them freshman year of college and I have been watching the show ever since.

I love the show because there is a variety of topics-- no two episodes are exactly the same. Since season 12 of the show is beginning this month, I'd like to share my top 5 favorite episodes of the show and why they are my favorites.

1. The Ghost Pepper Challenge (Season 4 Episode 41)

On this episode of Good Mythical Morning, Rhett eats a ghost pepper, one of the hottest peppers on the Scoville scale. After he finishes, he convinces Link to eat one as well. This episode was one of the first episodes that I watched, and I still cannot get over how funny it is.

2. Do You Have ESP? TEST (Season 5 Episode 99)

On this episode, Rhett and Link test each other to see who has ESP. In doing so, they try and guess what image is being sent to them with the mind of the other while being blinded and only able to hear white noise through headphones. Link ends up having ESP, while Rhett does not. The funniest part: Rhett's reaction as he swears Link did something wrong when "sending" the image.

3. World's Hottest Pepper Challenge- Carolina Reaper (Season 6 Episode 56)

A follow- up to the Ghost Pepper Challenge, Rhett and Link eat a Carolina Reaper to the request of a fan who sent them the pepper in a letter. They went ten minutes without relief and felt ever burn of that pepper. Watch them eat the pepper, stay for the crazy things that can happen when being burned by the capsaicin from the hottest pepper on the Scoville scale.

4. 6 Weirdest Things Sent Into Space (Season 7 Episode 11)

On this episode, Link tests Rhett's knowledge of items that were sent into space. At stake was an actual parachute chord from the Apollo 11 space mission back to Earth. Yes, a pizza was sent into space. Have fun guessing with Rhett what else was sent into space.

5. Will It Eggnog? Taste Test (Season 8 Episode 101)

The season 8 finale consisted of Rhett and Link testing unusual variations of eggnog to see what will actually "eggnog." The items went from slightly unconventional to "why did it you choose this?" It ends with both Rhett and Link vomiting "bloodnog." You do not want to know. This episode had me laughing very hard.

And, those are my top five favorite episodes. I highly recommend everyone who needs a good way to start the morning or a good way to wind down in the evening to watch it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
