OK so clearly everyone loves Disney. If you say you don’t, then you’re a liar. What’s great about Disney films are their soundtracks. Disney songs can do a lot. They set tones and moods but there are some songs that will immediately pump you up. Here are the top 5 songs and the reasons why.

"The Circle of Life" - The Lion King

Yeah this is a no brainer. The second you hear that first lyric shout out you immediately sing a long. No matter where you are. You could be at funeral and for some reason if that was some one’s ring tone on their phone and it went off you would join in. Side note: There’s a hotel in Panama City Beach that wakes their guests up every morning to this song on Spring break. So… yeah.

"Go the Distance" - Hercules

This is just a motivational one that can get you going. We all remember when young Hercules just rides off on Pegasus belting this song out to the sky and we were all like “Yeah this song has got it.” We were young at the time and we weren’t really sure what IT was, but this song had it. If you’re not a fan of the slow pump up, Michael Bolton did a version that has a pretty healthy electric guitar solo that will get you feeling right.

"Son of Man" - Tarzan

I know I mentioned Michael Bolton in the last one. He’s great and all but listen, Phil Collins. That’s all that you have to say about this song. Matter fact you can play almost anything from this album and you will be set because of Phil Collins. This song in particular though has something about it that just gets the engine running. Like come on, I know I said it already, but they got Phil Collins to do the whole soundtrack for this film. Michael Bolton only did one song. I’m sorry, I have dragged this out too far.

"He's a Pirate" - Pirates of The Caribbean

The theme song for this series of pirate films is amazing and everyone loves it. You can be doing anything mediocre, play this song and immediately make the boring task epic. Are you in the boring process of making a boring sandwich? Guess what? Shit just got cranked up to 11 now that you put this on the Beats pill in your kitchen.

"I’ll Make a Man Out of You" - Mulan

Yeah this is where shit really hits the fan. You can probably work out to this and reach new heights of power that you thought you never could. This song came out of left field in this film and you couldn’t be anymore excited about it. It doesn’t even matter if you’re a guy or a girl listening to this song. It’s 2016 people! Gender inequality is not a thing when it comes to this song.
