Podcasts have quickly become a favorite in my life. If you’re anything like me, you did not think you’d ever, in a million years, enjoy listening to podcasts in your free time. I mean, who actually likes listening to someone talk for 30 to 60 minutes straight?! That's what I thought, at least. But something changed and I'm hooked. They're entertaining, thought-provoking, and educational; they've got it all. From politics and news to self-help, you can find virtually any category to listen to. Here I have included my three favorite podcasts out right now that I highly recommend.

Don't Blame Me!

By Meghan Rienks

Meghan is someone who I've been watching on YouTube for years, however this podcast is hands down my favorite thing she's created. It's a cool setup where people can call in anonymously, explain whatever thing they need help with, and Meghan responds with genuine advice. There's a lot of advice handed out relating to self love, relationships, and random every day situations, which I really enjoy!

Pop Culture Happy Hour

By NPR

NPR is something I honestly tried to stay away from when I entered the world of podcasts. To be completely honest, when I hear NPR, I automatically assume it's a snooze fest. However, one day I was curious and gave this one a try, and I'm so happy I did. It's the perfect way to catch up on current events and pop culture.

LadyGang

By PodcastOne

My sister was the one who introduced me to this amazing podcast that features three hilarious women: Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek, and Becca Tobin. The cool thing about this podcast is that they have a new celebrity guest each week, and they talk about what life is like in Hollywood and as celebrities. This podcast has been going on since the end of 2015, and it's clear that they're no strangers to the podcast world.

FYI: All of these are available on Apple Podcasts! And they're free, so yay!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
