The Top 3 Cringeworthy Moments we have all Experienced

We all have done some things in our lives that are ridiculously embarrassing. Here are what I consider the top three embarrassing things most if not all of us have at least done once.

1.) "You too!"

This is one we definitely all have done at least once. We all have had food delivered to our house - I'm sure we can recall the whole rigmarole of paying for your food and signing the receipt. The delivery person says, "enjoy your food!" and you reply with, "you too!" like a socially awkward hermit. Then you cripplingly close the door and walk away absolutely defeated.

2.) Food Tray Fail

I'm sure we all had horrifying moments in our high school days, but the one I'm going to recount is possibly the most dreadful of them all. You have just obtained your food and you are stealthily making your way to your seat when you trip and all your food topples to the ground. Just when you thought you could get away with it, your tray clatters upon the ground placing a grotesque exclamation on your food tray fail.

3.) Inside Out

You wake up in the morning, get dressed, brush your teeth, comb your hair...ect. You're feeling spiffy and ready to kick the day in the face until someone notices your shirt is inside out. You reach behind your head and, sure enough, that taunting little piece of paper is dangling smirkingly from your collar...laughing at you silently.

None of us are alone - we're all incredibly awkward.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
