These aren't in any particular order, so scroll through and happy watching!
1. Breaking Bad
It's been said that this show ends all previous shows. If you disagree, you probably haven't finished the series. Maybe that's what you should be doing now instead of finishing this article.
2. Freaks and Geeks
Wanna see what James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segel looked like in high school? This show has so many familiar faces you almost forget the fact that they're all dressed in that 80s high school grunge.
3. Archer
Take The Simpsons, punch it in the gut a few times, shove it in the blender with the James Bond series, and serve with a side of those dirty jokes your drunk uncle always told at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
4. Friends
If you can't remember every single time Rachel got mad at Ross, it's time to rewatch.
5. The Twilight Zone
This 50s mind-boggler tackled the strange and often alien phenomena. Let's face it: it's about as exciting as the ride it's named for at Disneyland. But if you like the weird and monochromatic, give this one a spin. *dodododo dodododo*
6. Orange is the New Black
A city girl goes to prison because her ex-lover is a tattle-tale, but the same ex-lover is also in that prison, also no one knows their sexuality and all the other prison women have back stories that are 10x more exciting.
7. Portlandia
SNL's Fred Armisen took it upon himself to enlighten the world about the hipster town of Portland: "Where young people go to retire." The sketches that drive you insane and the recurring characters are the best reasons to watch the show.
8. Walking Dead
Zombies, guns, survival and... wait... where's... CAAARRRRLLLL!!!!
9. TEDTalks
If you feel the need to continue your studies despite being given the precious gift of vacation, these are your best bet. Most of them are actually interesting, and the topics are varied enough for hours of enjoyment.
10. Scandal
The power-hungry city of Washington D.C. never sleeps, and neither do those who work for Pope & Associates. There's sex, drugs, murder, politics, and if that doesn't get you going, the President is played by the guy who voiced Tarzan.
11. Bob's Burgers
It's Archer's voice in the body of a greasy burger-flipper. His wife, judging by her voice, is some removed cousin to Janice from Friends, and his children have worse ideas than Seth MacFarlane. (We saw A Million Ways to Die in the West and we're not buying it!!!)
12. Lost
It's cheesy, but it's the original 'trapped on a deserted island' trope. If you haven't seen at least season one, it is strongly recommended.
13. Luther
Idris Elba plays a gritty, sexy, English murder detective. Sold.
14. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The jokes are quotable and there's a surprising sense of family in the show that everyone thought would be a step down for Danny DeVito. Little did we know he was just always that short.
15. Arrow
Nerds rejoice! This kick-ass series is based on the Marvel comic book, Green Arrow. The references alone make this the perfect show for new Marvel recruits. (Thanks Avengers!)
16. House of Cards
Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright (FYI Princess Buttercup and Forrest Gump's Jenny) take revenge on anyone who crossed them. Many people who initially liked the show have redacted their statements, but other have done the opposite and finally admit to enjoying it. You've got to watch it to have a say!
17. Parks and Recreation
The tears, the waffles, the joy in many peoples' lives. Amy Poehler is Leslie Knope who is in charge of the Parks and Recreation department in small-town Pawnee, Indiana. Between loving to hate Jean-Ralphio and hating to love Jerry/Gerry/Larry/Terry, there is only room for one: Li'l Sebastian.
18. Pysch
Mysteries, police work, and a faux psychic. Plus, Gus is played by Sam the Onion Man from Holes. How's that for your childhood? Bad? Well, "I can fix that."
19. How I Met Your Mother
Sure, it's not the most exciting show in the world, but damn are these sitcoms fun! Honestly, I don't know if it's Bob Saget's voice, Neil Patrick Harris' game, or Cobie Smulder's everything, but they got me. They got me good.
20. Breaking Bad
Yes, it's on here twice. How did you notice that? You must be intelligent. You know, the most intelligent thing you can be doing right now is WATCHING BREAKING BAD.
RIGHT THIS SECOND.
GO, FALL IN LOVE.
