Top 15 Fictional Death's I'll Never Get Over

We have all seen thousands of movies and tv episodes through our lives. Many of which have a death or two from time to time. Some of those deaths we can forget about. However, some of those deaths are so heart wrenching that they will stick with us for life. Here is my top 15 fictional death I will never get over.

1. Derek Shepard- Greys Anatomy

This one speaks for itself. We fell in love from Season One with Derek and Meredith's relationship and we are still crying about Derek's death.

2. Augustus Waters- The Fault In OurStars

When Augustus died, a little piece of us died with him.

3. Michael - Practical Magic

You can watch this movie a thousand times and every time that Michael dies, you are going to cry.

4. Leslie Burke- Bridge To Terabithia

A sweet, smart, adventurous little girl, and when she dies it rips your heart out.

5. Brooks Hatlen- Shawshank Redemption

We fall in love with him early, and after his suicide we never watch this movie the same.

6. Mark Sloan- Greys Anatomy

One of the many heartbreaks of Grey's Anatomy, this one hits hard. Shonda gives you a little hope for Mark Sloan and then rips it back from your hands.

7. Marley- Marley And Me

Let's be real, dog deaths are WAY harder than human deaths.

8. Dumbledore- Harry Potter

We were devastated to see him go, but it was a huge lot twist for the movie. With the development of character it made it even harder to let go.

9. Poussey- Orange Is The New Black

This is a huge loss from Orange Is The New Black. The other deaths thus far do not even compare to the devastation or the tears that this brought.

10. Thomas J.- My Girl

"He can't see without his glasses!"

11. John Proctor- The Crucible

Maintaining his innocence until death, he dies with his dignity and beliefs.

12. Matt Kowalski- Gravity

George Clooney dying is hard enough, but this character was especially hard.

13. Neil- Dead Poet's Society

This suicide was one of the hardest to witness. The build up and inability to stand up to his father was heartbreaking.

14. Severus Snape- Harry Potter

This death was also unexpected and unbelievably hard. We learn the selflessness behind it afterwards and the hated character becomes loved after death.

15. George O'Malley- Greys Anatomy

This is another self explanatory death. After he draws 007 in Meredith's hand, we are all doomed with tears.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
