I remember that as a child the only thing I used to watch were cartoons. I remember being sixteen years old and my older cousin teasing me about still watching cartoons. I wasn't ashamed though, cartoons back then were great. But then the old cartoons like Pokemon, PowerPuff Girls, Ed, Edd and Eddy, Teen Titans and other really awesome ones stopped airing, and so I stopped watching television all together. I'm just being dramatic, but in all seriousness, I stopped watching cartoons because I couldn't get behind all of the newer cartoons like Adventure Time or Gumball etc. It just wasn't for me.
That was until someone introduced me to Steven Universe. I was basically forced to watch it, but after the first couple episodes, nothing could stop me from binge watching it. Steven Universe is an awesome cartoon that is cute and funny, but also deals with real world issues, and teaches good values, all at the same time. But what I love most about Steven Universe is the songs. They're so catchy and well written that it's almost impossible to dislike them. In light of my love for Steven Universe, I'm going to list my top 10 songs.
