Football season is here, and you know what that means....TAILGATES. Even if your team is not the best at playing football and you don't like going to the games, game day is still exciting because you get to hang out with all your friends, take adorable pictures, and jam out to same of your favorite songs.
A killer playlist is the key to every great tailgate. You need a mix of some throwbacks and current pop hits to keep everyone dancing and singing at the top of their lungs. Here is a list of some of my personal favorite tailgating songs.
1."All The Small Things" by Blink-182
Or any old jam by Blink-182 for that matter. It is impossible to not sing along and jump up and down. When this song comes on, your tailgate becomes a mini-mosh pit.
2. "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot
Sir Mix-a-Lot's rap is an epic one that gets everyone going. If you don't know all the lyrics, you need to learn them.
3. "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey
It's pretty much the national anthem of white girls everywhere. And it's just such a classic.
4. "Don't Tell 'Em" by Jeremih ft. YG
With a catchy beat and some smooth lines, it is impossible not to get your swagger on to this song.
5. "679" by Fetty Wap ft. Remy Boyz
This is a newer song that is great for showing off your killer dance moves (don't act like you haven't been practicing them).
6. "All-Star" by Smash Mouth
Another classic that brings us back to our childhoods. If you don't jam out to this one you'll be looking kinda dumb with your finger and your thumb in the shape of an L on your forehead.
7. "Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker
Every tailgate needs a little touch of country, after all we do go to school in the South! This is a crowd favorite that keeps everyone singing along.
8. "Sorority Girl" by Luke Bryan
There are always large flocks of sorority girls at tailgates so this one is super fitting and guarantees that the girls will get super excited when their sorority is mentioned.
9. "Sugar, We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy
Another oldie that brings us all back to our angsty teenage days. This song has an unforgettable chorus that everyone will surely sing along to.
And last but certainly not least...
10. "Party In The U.S.A" by Miley Cyrus
Whether you're a Miley fan or not, you cannot deny that this song is a crowd pleaser and everyone loves to nod and move their hips like yeah.
So there you have it, a list of just a few of my favorite songs to dance and sing along to at tailgates. It was hard to pick because there are so many great songs that get me pumped up, but the 10 listed are guaranteed crowd pleasers.
