Do you get bored of sitting around? Need something to do in Oklahoma? These places are the best places around, though there might not be much around them! Check out these Top 10!
1. Downtown Tulsa
From the murals to the cool places to eat and all around good atmosphere, downtown Tulsa is definitely the place to visit when coming to Oklahoma. Mayfest, concerts at the BOK, and delicious coffee or cupcakes from the places around town are definitely highlights of the area. You can even visit the Center of the Universe!
2. Pops
Pops from all around the world are located in this fantastic place! You can get almost every kind of soda you could imagine..including Bacon Soda!
3. Oklahoma City
Catch a Thunder game, go to Kevin Durant's very own restaurant, eat at Kitchen No. 324, walk around and see the memorial. OKC is an incredible place to be. The artwork and activities are endless.
4. Bricktown
5. Stillwater
Home to the Oklahoma Cowboys, Stillwater is definitely a place to check out! Eskimo Joe's, football games, and OSU gear shops rule this college town. Check out the cheese fries when you go to Joe's! They're the best!
6. Natural Falls State Park
Natural Falls is a cool place to camp and hike! It is a beautiful setting to be in and they have gorgeous trails! (It's also a cool place to get engaged, my sister did here!)
7. Lakes
There are too many to count: Skiatook, Oologah, Hudson, Grand.. I could go on. A good place to go kayak, camp, or just have a nice dip in the lake. Check out any of the various lakes in Oklahoma for a fun time!
8. Mowdy Mustang Ranch
This wild Mustang Ranch is full of beauty. The trails are hard, but it is worth it! As you walk along these trails, you could witness a wild Mustang run across your path. Just wait until you see the sunset on the ranch, then you'll know how truly amazing Oklahoma sunsets are!
9. Red Rock Canyon State Park
This state park, known for its incredible scenery, is one you can't miss. The beautiful trails are full of gorgeous plants and wildlife. You can even see some ruts left by wagon wheels left by settlers on their way to California! Along with hiking, this state park also gives you a chance to try your hand at rappelling!
10. Frontier City
Frontier City is the last place on my list! The rollercoasters and concerts are some of the fun, but the memories you'll make here are the best! Christian fun days, concerts, choir competitions, and StuCo conventions are just the beginning of the fun had here!
