Less than a week until Christmas and you're still struggling to find gifts for all of your brothers and sisters, parents, friends, and significant others. Your bank account is dwindling at a such rapid pace, and you have no idea why a small piece of fabric like a scarf could cost over $50. You still have to plan the holiday dinner on top of it all. It's the final countdown until the big day, and it's starting to feel less and less like the magical holiday you've waited 365 days for.
The top 10 struggles we're all facing this holiday season:
1. Going into stores and having to deal with crowds like this.
2. You keep getting shoved by other shoppers, and it takes every ounce of you to keep it together.
3. Waiting in line for almost half an hour as a woman tries to argue sale prices with the cashier.
4. Finding out that the Christmas gifts you ordered online aren't going to get here until after the New Year.
5. It's Christmas Eve night and you still have a dozen more gifts to wrap after the obligated family dinner, you forgot to buy someone a gift, you need to make a last-minute dash to the store, and on top of it all you just ran out of hot chocolate (which is by far the worst part of the night).
6. Needing just a little something extra to keep you sane during your family Christmas Eve party.
7. When you check out your bank account after you finish your holiday shopping.
8. Going to a holiday function & having everyone ask you when you're finally going to get a boyfriend. (Hint: When I finally decide to.)
9. Seeing no end to this unnecessary, icy weather.
10. All of those delicious holiday snacks are beginning to catch up with you. But who can say no to mom's christmas cookies?
