Top 10 Foods to Buy a Girl So She Falls for You

Being a girl, I know that one of my favorite things to talk about with my friends is food, and our favorite thing to do is go out to eat -- and continue to talk about food. Whenever I don’t know what to talk about with someone I just met, food is always the go-to topic. One of the best things, however, is when a guy buys you food, especially if he surprises you with food, because that’s when you know.

1. Pizza. The number one food to get a girl is, without a doubt, pizza. It is a crowd pleaser, a classic. You can never go wrong with a cheese pizza. However, if you want to be really impressive, and wow your girl with how well you know her, you should customize the toppings to make it a pizza she will never forget. If any of you are trying to buy me a pizza -- black olives and mushrooms, please.

2. Chipotle. This is one of my all time favorites, but not all girls like Chipotle -- shocking, I know. If your girl does like Chipotle, make sure you know what you are doing when you walk down the line. Bowl, burrito, or tacos? What kind of meat? Just make sure you have a general idea, and do not skimp on paying the extra $1.95 for guac. Just don’t.

3. Sushi. My all time favorite, because I just love seafood and being adventurous with my meals. A lot of girls do not like eating raw fish, but some may like veggie sushi, or cooked rolls, so just know her preferences. I would basically eat anything, but also make sure there is extra eel sauce. Girls love eel sauce.

4. McDonald’s french fries. There is no explanation necessary. You cannot go wrong with these fried potatoes, I promise.

5. Froyo. Again, it is best to know her preferences so you can impress her, but most girls will swoon at the very fact that you are bringing them froyo, and you do not need to know the exact number of sour gummy worms she likes, she will be happy just at the thought.

6. Breakfast food. Another personal favorite. Even if she is hungover or just really in the mood for a delicious breakfast, there is nothing better. She will instantly think you are the greatest guy ever.

7. Slushies. I actually do not know if the majority of the female population likes slushies, but I know that if two guys showed up at my door with white cherry slushies for my roommate and I they would be very, very appreciated. We do not need a lot to be happy, just some frozen sugary beverage and we are set.

8. Starbucks. Bringing a girl coffee is such a sweet gesture, because most girls love coffee and need it to get through a normal day, and especially if they are having a rough day. This gesture shows that you really care about her life and want her to make it through everything she is dealing with.

9. Insomnia cookies. Also foolproof. All girls like fresh baked cookies. It is a known fact. Send some to her as a surprise with a cute message and she will be so happy.

10. Her favorite candy. This is a good way to show a girl that you listen to her and care about what she likes enough to get her specific favorites. It is also a quick and easy way to make her happy.

If any of you are interested in what to send me, just contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you what I like on my burrito bowl (veggie, please), and what my favorite candy is (all pink Starburst). Now you know how to make all girls happy. You’re welcome!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
