10. “I can do without a tan on my left hand, where my fourth finger meets my knuckle.” –Ed Sheeran, Wake Me Up

I love how beautiful and meaningful this line in the song is. It made the simple phrase of “I want to marry you,” into a beautiful, poetic sentence. Ed never fails to write creative and flawless lyrics, and he never ceases to take my breath away. This line always makes me smile when I hear it.

9. “We live on a blue planet that circles around a ball of fire next to a moon that moves the sea, and you don’t believe in miracles?” –Unknown

I adore this quote for its inspiring and positive tone. It helps me realize and appreciate the miracles and beauty in the smaller things in life.

8. “Do you still believe in the moon when the sun comes up?” –Rise of the Guardians

This movie is very uplifting, and this quote, to me, is very empowering. The movie revolves about believing and I think that believing in yourself is very important. It is said when a child asks, “What if I stop believing?” I felt that this response was perfect, and as soon as I heard it, I fell in love with it.

7. “She lost him, but found herself, and somehow that was everything.” –Taylor Swift

This quote is in a hidden message in Taylor Swift’s album 1989. I love this one since it is about finding yourself and I think that it’s important to find yourself without the help of someone else. When you find yourself by yourself, it is an amazing thing.

6. “You are so used to your features, you don’t know how beautiful you look to a stranger.” –Unknown

I have sworn by this quote for a very long time. When struggling through self-esteem issues, this quote always makes me smile. Beauty comes in many different forms. Because you are used to your features, you are very picky about what you look like. You never know what someone thinks when they see you for the first time, however. It’s like those people you see in public that you think are so attractive, and you can’t help but stare at them. You never know when you are that person to somebody.

5. “What didn’t kill me, never made me stronger at all.” –Ed Sheeran, Drunk

I love the truth behind this lyric. Not everything that doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Some people get hurt badly for certain situations. Just because they have overcome it once, doesn’t make it any easier the second time around. I admire the truth in his lyric, and I can relate to it in my very own ways.

4. “Don’t cry about dreams that don’t come true today. Sometimes ya needs ta try another way!” –Kapp’n, Animal Crossing

This game has the cutest characters and they all say some of the most amazing things I have ever heard. I liked how inspiring this quote was. It basically states that there’s always another way, and that giving up shouldn’t be an option. It’s very encouraging, and I feel that it’s very important to know.

3. “I swear it will get easier, remember that with every piece of you.” –Ed Sheeran, Photograph

This is a lyric that can apply for anything in life. It can apply for hard times, or it can apply for obstacles. All things get easier in time, and there’s no need to give in. You can and will overcome anything, and time will make it easier for you to heal.

2. “If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.” –Winnie the Pooh

This quote is adorable, and one that I hold dear to my heart. With a lot of my friends, loved ones, and relatives going to college, it’s something I hope they all know as they continue on their journey of life. It is a beautiful quote that’s wonderfully said. No matter what the distance, a strong friendship or love can overcome anything. You are always together, even when you are apart.

1. “May happiness find you and yours… And remember that bad times… are just times that are bad.” –Katrina, Animal Crossing

This is my favorite quote of all time. As I said before, the Animal Crossing characters never cease to amaze me with the things they say. I adore this quote because it’s about positivity and overcoming bad times. Not every day is a bad day, and bad days are just days that aren’t your best. It doesn’t change you or the value of your life. All bad things can be overcome, and we all deserve to find some happiness.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
