Why Disney has the best love stories

Every movie that has ever been produced has the romantic love interest part of it. Nicholas Sparks focuses on those types of relationships and struggles in every book he writes, which eventually gets turned into a movie. Other movies, like action movies, are not as much focused on the love interest part of the storyline as they are about trying to get as much action, drama, and fighting into two hours as they can. However, it is always present. In my opinion, the best movies that have the love and relationship part of the storyline are Disney movies, especially the classic Disney animated movies. These are my ten favorite disney couples of all time.

1. Simba and Nala, The Lion King

Simba and Nala come from my favorite movie of all time, The Lion King. They started as best friends when they were little. They grew apart for some time, but in the end they were able to work everything out, through a song, and became the love of of the others life.

2. Cinderella and Prince Charming

Cinderella and Prince Charming had the magical fairytale. He knew after just one night with her that he loved her and was willing to scour the entire kingdom in order to find her again.

3. Ariel and Eric

Ariel and Eric made this list, but not just because Ariel was a mermaid. She fell in love with Prince Eric and was willing to give up her voice in order to be with him. That is some major sacrifice right there.

4. Belle and the Beast

Belle started to fall in love with Beast, even before she knew the story. She didn't care that he didn't look like her or that he wasn't even human. She loved him for his personality, and that should be what matters.

5.Aladdin and Princess Jasmine

Aladdin fell in love with Jasmine. Some would say this is only because she is a princess. I think he saw past her princessness and saw who she truely was. She didn't see Aladdin as a streetrat. She loved him for who he was.

6. Rapunzel and Eugene

When Rapunzel and Eugene first meet, he gets smacked in the head with a frying pan. It took Rapunzel a while to trust him, which is more realistic. I think that trust has to be earned, and many girls jsut trust right off the bat.

7. Anna and Kristoff

Even though Frozen is one of my least favorite Disney movies (I think it is overrated,) I still admire the relationship they shared. They were an unlikely couple. Kristoff knew he was in love with Anna far before she did. She thought she was in love with Hans, he was the Prince who had the God Complex. Even though she went through a little heartache, I am glad she ended up with Kristoff.

8. Pongo and Perdita

Pongo and Perdita, when through a horrible tradgey. They lost their puppies to Creuella De VIl. That is something that could have torn them apart and started fighting, even though they were dogs. Pongo still took care of Perdita even though he was really sad himself.

9. Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Mickey and Minnie are the ones who started it all. Nothing can break their bond now.

10. Lady and Tramp

When Lady left home, she had no idea what she was doing. She wandered into the junk yard where she met Tramp, whom she connected with. Everyone needs someone watching out for them when they embark on new journeys.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
