Top 10 Daniel Howell Videos

Daniel “Dan” Howell is a 26-year-old British YouTuber. He is commonly referred to by his old username “Danisnotonfire” or as the “internet cult leader”. His videos are highly relatable and almost always put a smile on my face, no matter what the occasion.

What not to do at The Beach

In this video, Dan shares the horrors of going to a public beach. Whether it be desanding towels or being hit in the head with a ball, Dan describes it in such a way that always makes me laugh. As I go to the beach quite often, this video was very relatable because almost everything Dan mentioned has been something that has either happened to me or has been something I’ve seen.

How NOT to stay cool

Dan posted this video when England was having a heatwave and he had been trying (and failing) to find ways to stay cool. As summer just started and the weather will hopefully get warmer, this video is definitely one to watch. He states five ways in which he has found are entirely useless to stay cool.

Dan the Dinosaur

Dan was tagged to do the Krave Cereal Challenge by another YouTuber, Jack Harries. Krave sent him a dinosaur onesie so he could become a “danosaur”. He tries really creative ways to get the cereal from a catapult to a bowl so he could eat it. This video never fails to make me laugh as the ways he attempts are very hilarious.

Cringe Attack

This video is one of Dan’s most relatable videos. He talks about something called a “cringe attack”. With little skits, Dan acts out what they look like and ponders why they occur. It’s one of his funniest videos and one of my favorites.

THE PHOTO BOOTH CHALLENGE

Phil Lester (AmazingPhil) is a YouTuber that appears in this challenge. He is Dan’s roommate, so many of their videos feature each other. This challenge, created by Jenna Marbles, requires the photobooth feature on computers. In Dan’s words, “you have to make yourself look as ridiculous as possible, and the other person has to try not to laugh.’’ Dan and Phil fail horribly at this challenge because they kept on laughing at each other.

typos have ruined my life

Dan shares the horrors of typos and autocorrect, which almost everyone can relate to. He reflects on the reasons one might make a typo and gives his reason for always making typos.

Dan’s Diss Track - ROAST YOURSELF CHALLENGE

YouTubers started roasting themselves after the creation of the challenge by Ryan Higa. Dan’s diss track captures the essence of his channel in just under three minutes. It’s very funny, but if you don’t know Dan’s channel it probably wouldn’t make much sense.

Internet Support Groups

There are currently nine Internet Support Groups, but I feel that I can’t just pick one. Starting out as a complete joke in 2012, Dan gives out questionable advice to people who send problems into him. No matter how ridiculous or insane the questions are, Dan (sometimes) is able to give out some type of advice.

Our Awkward Fancy Meal

This video was a collab with Louise Pentland, otherwise known as “Sprinkle of Glitter.” In it, Dan and Louise talk about a dinner that they went to that was meant to be a surprise for Louise. It was supposed to be a nice, fancy night out, but were faced with many awkward moments that they documented in this thirty minute video.

I Nearly Blinded Myself

Dan and Phil (AmazingPhil) took their stage show international and went to visit Australia. Dan, being a procrastinator, left packing until the last minute and accidentally sprayed deodorant in his eye. He recounts the experience and the trip to the airport, leaving out no details about this encounter.

These are just some of the best videos created by Dan Howell. They are so funny and so incredibly executed in a way that makes me want to watch them all day.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
