"Let's get this bread."
I have been hearing that for a while now and it's inspiring (ish). It kinda makes sense, it kinda doesn't. Like why bread? After some investigating, it originally meant "let's get money" because bread means dough and dough is a word for money. But this meme that has been going around means to be successful in their day. It means to conquer what life has in store for you that day. Yeah, I want to get this bread but lately, I've been tired.
I'm tired of school. I've been having exams every week. And I will continue having exams each week until Thanksgiving break. I also have homework assignments due each week. I need my professors to calm down. I can't be having exams each week if I'm trying to get this bread. I need the opportunity to sleep in and watch Netflix. I barely sleep, which is affecting getting the bread.
I'm tired of people. People are annoying. Since I am not getting enough sleep, people can easily get on my nerve. I need peace and quiet so when people are loud I need them to shut up. Also, it can get annoying when people keep talking and talking. What does a girl need to do to get some peace and quiet around here? I can't let people be in the way of getting the bread.
I'm tired of not having enough money to live my life. I am a broke college student so I don't have the time to get this bread! I barely have money to pay rent, pay gas, and pay groceries. I need extra money to buy clothes, food to eat out, and other necessities. The holidays are coming up so I need money to buy gifts for family members! I'm either broke as hell or I'm getting the bread. I can't have both.
This meme about getting this bread needs to stop because I don't have the time to get this bread! I don't have the patience or the time to get it. Even though the memes are hilarious, it needs to stop.
