Once upon a time, there was a teacher who met a young woman. Ironically enough, he was introduced to her by a former student. On this day, it was just a hi and bye. They saw each other again on a CTtransit bus and had much to talk about. He started a theater program at a local school, and she was interested in helping out but couldn't do so because of job obligations.

What he didn't know, was that she was attracted to him and she hoped he felt the same. He texted her general text messages, small talk that was barely responded to. That following summer, he saw her at a friend's birthday party, and he started to be attracted to her but didn't want to do what desperate single people do. He was sad when he found out, she would have to leave soon. Before she left, he did mention to her that she should respond to his text and showed her one of the last text he sent. When she left, he thought about her. That next day, he thought about why couldn't she have stayed a little longer?

Months roll by and he sees her once again and even proposes the assistant position he offered long ago. This time she is able to make it, but she has a boyfriend. He decides to let her fill her role and just be associates. One day he finally realizes, I think I really like this girl. He even why does she have a boyfriend? One day they attended a church service and he was impressed with how much praise she was giving to God. He said, God if only I could have a woman like that. Little did he know God heard his prayer and wanted to do that and more.

Later on in the friendship, they were riding the bus together and he asked her a question and her response was "I went on a date". He was confused as confused could because it sounded like she just said she's single. He felt like God was playing a trick on him. There started to be slight flirtation and one day they decided to set up a wrestling match on June 12th, 2013.

They went to the movies one day and near the end of the movie, he rested his head on her shoulder. She didn't move it. He brought it up in a conversation and she said she didn't mind. He was confused and happy at the same time. Prior to the wrestling match one day in Stop & Shop plaza, they were play fighting and actually enjoying it. He knew that she liked him at least a little now. He decided to not only invite her to a Single's Conference but also pay for it. But, he didn't have the resources to pay for it, but he trusted God that they could both attend. So many things were brought up that confirmed that she should be the one God wanted him to be with. Now the struggle was finding out a way to ask her out and to make it memorable.

He thought and thought and thought as decided to use the students in the plan. That day came and he told her and her friend that they had to leave and that a student would come grab them. He explained to the students what they would have to do. The time came, and the program went longer than expected so he had to create a plan two. He decided to ask her out in the faculty lounge of East Rock. He explained to her the rules of what she needed to do, and her friend was around as well as one of the students. She was slightly confused with the directions, but tried it out, and starts to put the scrambled words together. To her friend and the student it looked like, Toni will you marry me, but it said: "Toni will you allow me to court you?" She stood on top of a chair and read it and was excited about the date. Toni said yes, and they embraced with a hug.

Like all fairytales, they lived happily ever after.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
