Tomorrowland was inspired from Mysteryland, an electronic dance music (EDM) festival of Netherlands. However, if Mysteryland is a paradise for all kinds of electronic dance music and hip-hop fans, Tomorrowland is a heaven reserved for only EDM fans.


The first festival took place in 2005 in Boom, Belgium and is happening every July. Tomorrowland is getting bigger and bigger every year by the numbers. In 2012, in less than one day, all of the tickets sold out and at some moments there were 2,000,000 people on the online waiting list. With the rising popular of EDM, Tomorrowland has moved from 1-day event in 2005 to a 3-days event since 2011.

Tomorrowland is considered one of the biggest music festivals in the world with almost 400 DJs. Some of the most popular DJs have gathered for this and include Alesso, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Avicii, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and hundreds of other DJs.

With approximately 450,000 people attended in 2016 from over 200 countries, Tomorrowland is the perfect place to experience many different cultures. It is the place that connects people from all over the world with only one common thing: the love for music. Coming here, we can forget just about anything and just enjoy the excitement and music that Tomorrowland brings. Tomorrowland has proved that music unites us all.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
