The college struggle is real right now and I'm barely holding on by a thread. And it seems the closer I get to finishing, the harder it gets. On a scale of one to ten, my stress level is about 100.
I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology II this semester and I'm barely still swimming. It's mid semester and I'm not sure how I got this far. I go from studying at home to studying at work, studying in the car, staying up late to study.. all just to have it not pay off in the end. It's frustrating and tiring.
College is hard and nobody gives credit for that anymore. It's countless hours of studying and a few hours of sleep. I'm pretty sure I think about dropping out at least once a week. Is it just me or do the classes seem to become more insane with each semester? I'm pretty sure they want us to come to a breaking point. They expect you to take an exam on the stuff you just learned last week. But also don't forget about those 3 online assignments, the take home homework, and that one in-class quiz you still have to study for. If you need me, I'll be the girl crying in my car after the final exam.
It's okay to stress every now and then. It's okay to break down. Just let those moments push you to work harder. Give yourself credit for even going. You're hanging in there and doing the best you can. Don't let people judge you for how long it takes you to finish. Don't let people undermine your success or goals. Some people don't even take the first step towards attending college. Just keep doing you and hang in there. It will all be worth it in the end.
