Just in case I have not told you enough times, you are my person.

I will never be able to say thank you enough times to signify how truly thankful I am to have you in my life. You have stayed by my side every time things got rough and stayed to witness the best moments of my life. You have seen me at my worst and at my best. The friendship we have is one I hope we never lose.

You will forever be my other half. Without you, I would be lost and I would be depressed. You make my days brighter and my life happier.

Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on even when the tears were for no good reason.

Thank you for listening to my rants even when I have said the same thing a million times.

Thank you for staying by my side every time that you have had a million reasons to leave.

I feel bad for the people who have not found their person. I look back on certain days not knowing how I would have got through them without you. You have truly been a blessing in my life. I am blessed to be able to count on you at any moment, whether it is a late night call or a midday drive. Being able to count on you has changed my life. Bad days are not too bad anymore because no matter how bad the day is, I still have you to lean on to make it better.

I need you to know that it is not always what you say that makes things better. I appreciate all the long nights around a bonfire. I love every single one of our drives blasting music and singing every lyric. Whether it is walking around the city or days spent at the lake, I would not want to do anything else. As much as I love every single one of our heart to heart talks, that's not what it is about. Just knowing I have you by my side, knowing that when others walk out and you are still there is what matters.

You could talk to me for hours trying to make me feel better about a relationship ending or useless drama but it is not about the words you say, it is the fact that you are there. Every time, you are right there.

All I can ask you is that you never leave. I know that one day life may take us separate ways, but whether that means 400 miles away or us putting our time into marriages, Promise that we will always just be a phone call away. I can handle our lives taking different paths, but I cannot handle losing you for good.

So in case I haven't said it enough times, thank you. Thank you for the memories, the love and all the support. You are my person, and I hope that never changes.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
