This one is for all the fellas that waltz in and out of the hearts of just a few of the women I love most in this world. My best friends; my sisters. These women who I have gotten to know, love, and appreciate with everything I have. Who have some of the biggest hearts I know. They would drop anything to come and help me or anyone else they love. They are extraordinary and beautiful inside and out. They run their lives and need for nothing. Any man would be lucky to have these incredible individuals in their lives. However, instead of noticing these things and loving them in ways that they deserve you go in and out of their lives like it's a fast food drive thru.
I told you from the moment you entered their lives that you were lucky. That some greater power has shined down on you and by some blessed miracle they see something in you. I also stated that if you ever hurt them in any way that there was no place you could hide. I would find you and cause you the same pain. When you each broke it off with them I thought I knew what I had to do. I was wrong.
As a best friend I knew I had to be there for them and pick up the pieces. Of course their pain became my pain, but after they came out of that place something amazing happened. Because of that something I want to thank all of you guys. You gave me back the friends I used to know.
You gave me back the women who had time to go out and have drinks with the girls on any given weeknight. You gave me back the women who I have the craziest stories with who want to be adventurous again. You gave me back the women who were able to make decisions without consulting a man first. You gave me back women who have hopes and dreams that don't involve marriage and babies. You gave me back the women who are confident in themselves and their potential.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me back the best versions I have ever seen them become. As for you, things of the past, I hope you realize that
A. They don't talk about you anymore.
B. They are not concerned about what you are up to. Neither is the rest of the group.
C. You made the women who never give up on anyone give up on you.
Congrats that's quite a personal accomplishment.
