You were my best friend, and I would blow off any plan to stay with you. The time God blessed me with you will always be cherished. There were some things left unsaid, which is the point of this article. There are many thank you's I left out through the years. There are many things i was just too heartbroken to get out near the end.

1. Thank you for being my biggest supporter

I never felt alone in anything I was doing. You were always by my side in every sport and competition, even when i wasn't great. You constantly told me how proud you were and I always felt it with genuine sincerity. There was never a time when i doubted I could accomplish anything, simply because you never let me believe it. Thank you for every game and competition you attended to insure I knew you were proud. Thank you for always telling me to follow my dreams, and thank you for supporting me when i did.

2. Thank you for sharing your faith with me

Anyone who knew you, knows the insane passion and love you had for Jesus Christ. You always had your bible in your hand, or by your side, and you read it every day. The commitment you had to God is one that i hope to accomplish. The trust and faith you put into the Lord is what carried me through losing you. Understanding losing you came mostly in part from thinking back on every church experience or every time I watched the video of you sitting in your chair reading out loud and focusing on the words with immense passion. Your faith has shown me how amazing it is to trust God through any situation, and it is steadily carrying me through life.

3. I wish you were here to witness my high and low points of life

There will never be a day that I won't cry for you to be here and experience my life with me. Whether it was for comfort or joy, you were always my #1. Though I do not wish you back on this Earth to endure the pain again, I do wish you could have stayed for the important parts. I got my license and the only place I wanted to go with my newly found freedom was to celebrate with you. There are so many important people I have added to my life since you have been gone that I truly wish you could have had the chance to meet. There have been celebrations and many tear filled night that would have been happier and easier with you, but I understand that you are finally home.

4. I will never share our special moments with anyone else

I promise to never retrieve a Popsicle out of the freezer for anyone else. I promise to never ditch school for fake reasons with anyone else. I promise to never swing with anyone else, or sneak away for ice cream. I will always cherish the ways God has blessed our moments together, and never take a memory for granted. I acknowledge that many high points in my life are still to come, but i will never forget that the best moments are behind me in the memories we share. I love you always and forever.
