I know she won't read this; she isn't big on social media these days. Despite that, I feel the need to write this for her; though not just to her, but all the girls out there who are worth more than they would ever think.
To the girl who deserves the world,
You don't realize it, but you're perfect. "Perfect" has a loose definition because each person is perfect in their own way. I'm here to let you know that you are perfect in your own way. You probably don't see it, and I really wish you could see yourself the way I see you. All you see is "what's wrong" with you, and you fail to see everything good about yourself.
To the girl who deserves the stars and moon,
I'm sorry life hasn't been good to you. I'm sorry for what you've had to experience in the few short years of your life; you've been through a lifetime of pain and you're not even 20 yet. It hurts every time I hear about what you're going through, because I know there isn't a whole lot I can do to help. The best I can do with the distance between us is to just be available whenever you need someone to lean on.
To the girl who deserves the sun,
There is nothing more I want right now than for you to be happy. I want you to be able to smile without a worry, to be able to laugh with ease. You've started going in the direction, but there's still so much sadness within you. I want you to know that if I was able to take my happiness and give it to you, I would in a heartbeat. I want you to take all the bad thoughts you have and throw them into the sun, and then I want you to take my happiness. Then, I want you to thrive.
To the girl who deserves everything,
I've known you for years, but it feels like a lifetime. You're one of my best friends, and I really want you to be content. I want you to achieve your dreams, to find what you love and to have the ability to do whatever that it. I want you to be surrounded by people you love, and I want you to be able to find love. I want your scars to disappear, and I want you to never shed another tear out of spite or sadness.
You're perfect, and I want you to see that in yourself. I want you to smile, and to not know the pain that you already do. I want you to smile and be happy. I know that if you read this, you're going to tell me that you don't deserve any of this. Please believe me, you do.
Sincerely,
The girl who wants only the best for you
