Good friends should always be cherished.

To 'That' Friend

To the friend who is like family to you,

To the friend who helped you change a cracked break line in the rain at night so that you could drive home to see your mom for Thanksgiving,

To the friend that tells you the way you talk to them when your frustrated makes him feel stupid, and makes you want to change so that way he never feels like that again,

To the friend who takes you to dinner because you’ve had a bad day and you look like you could use some food,

To that friend who never tried to be anything more than just friends,

To that friend who respects you, and makes you feel respected every chance they get,

To the friend who tells you to text you when you get home, even though you live down the street,

To the friend who knows your drink order and who will still drink the Sprite with grape add-in at Sonic that you ordered, even though they hate it.

To that friend that knows when you think someone is totally hot even though you didn’t think you were being that obvious,

To the friend who appreciates your making an effort to put their family first, even when it ruins your plans – then makes it up to you,

To the friend who is never mad at you, but always uses frustration as an opportunity to understand you,

To the friend whom you are always learning from,

To the friend who sings loud with you in the car and laughs at you when your voice cracks,

To the friend that you could talk to all night, and never be bored,

To the friend that you could sit in silence with, and your time together would still be awesome,

To the friend you’re excited for when opportunity arises,

To the friend whom without, you don’t know where you’d be emotionally,

To the friend who you don’t mind talking about your dreams with; because they would never laugh at you,

To the friend who makes you excited to do boring things with,

To the friend who lets you drive his car, although they don’t let a lot of other people drive it,

To the friend who is kind and patient even when you’re a handful,

To the friend who is a real blessing to you and you don’t tell them enough because if you did, it would get annoying,

To the friend whom you talk about to other people, just because they’re so awesome to you,

To the friend who will always have a special place in your heart even after you move away,

To the friend whom you hope you will be friends with forever,

You’re the best, and I love you to bits and pieces.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
