I miss you.

There, I said it.

When I graduated, I knew that I would have a hard time leaving you, but I didn't know it would be this hard.

College is a completely different experience. As exciting as it is, it sucks not having you around. I didn’t always have friends but when I found you, I knew that I had found people that would support me and be there no matter where life took us.

You are growing up and it hurts to know I’m not there every day to watch you grow into the amazing people that will shortly be, taking on this crazy world on your own.

I want you to know that it won’t be as easy as you think it is. I expected college to be one giant party as well as just a school that I never leave. While that is true, you are going to learn a lot about yourself.

In just a few short months I’ve seen so much. What I’ve learned is that you just have to take everything day by day. Don’t rush these high school days because you are going to miss them more than you know. It’s hard here without you guys but every single one of you are always on my mind (as well as on my wall in photo form).

I guess that’s the hardest part about this. You are so close, yet so far away. I miss your hugs, you wiping away my tears when I was sad, helping me with all my issues and me being there for yours, the happiness you bring me, never going more than a day without seeing you and things like that. You take them for granted at the time but once you are out on your own in this cruel world, you want nothing more than to have your friends by your side.

I miss you guys more than you can understand. I will always be there for you and am your biggest fan no matter what path you take. Know that I’m always just a text away and will be there for you whenever you need me. I love you so much.
