To My Best Friend Rose,
There comes a time in every girl's life where she needs a friend to lean on, luckily for me I have a shoulder to lean on for a lifetime.Thank you for always being a constant in my life. We met in 9th grade and quickly learned that we didn't really like any of the other girls in "the group" and after high school it's just been us. Many of my other friends have come and gone, even the longest friendship I had has dissolved but you remain and that means so much to me. We are polar opposites and I believe that's what makes our friendship so solid because we bring out the best in one another. We push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. Always meeting half way and allowing ourselves to grow and mature without leaving one another behind. I've watched you grow into an amazing women in the last 6 months, from being in a healthy relationship, to going back to school for your dream job as a ultrasound technician, to managing your finances to secure your future. I am so proud of you and know that as we continue to get older and wiser this thing called life will also get easier.
My only wish for you is that you continue to stay true to yourself. The purest heart I've ever known and one of the things I admire about you is your willingness to forgive and see the good in people even after they mess up. I hope you stay happy and feel loved in every aspect of your life and know that I will always be here for you. I can't wait to be at your graduation, engagement party, wedding, child's birth and vice versa. You deserve everything good in this world and I hope you never allow anyone to dull your light. I hope we never stop laughing until we cry and going on trips together, calling one another to gossip about shows or just our life in general. I'll never get tired of our sleepovers and wine cooler nights. You have made me a better person and I cannot thank you enough for accepting me as I am, and who I will be eventually. Always us.
